All right, enough depressive stuff.
Let's get our healthy dose of dopamine ❤️❤️❤️
"Where the hell are you taking me, JK?"
I glanced over to the boy on the passenger seat and just couldn't help my smile when I saw the curiosity and slight nervousness in his gaze.
It was a pretty rare thing to see.
I felt rather nervous too, but swallowed it down."It wouldn't be a surprise if I just told you, would it?"
He rolled his eyes and pouted.
I gripped the steering wheel hard.
Jimin pouting... those lips just looked even fluffier and softer."I don't like surprises." Jimin tried to convince me, but I only snorted and looked back at the street.
"Bullshit. You love surprises," I chuckled back at his impression of a pouty child sulking.
He did so for another minute until he turned to me again, eyes full of that spark again.
"Can't you tell me anything? Give me a hint perhaps?"
I smirked and kept my eyes on the road.
"The hint is that it's a surprise."
"Come ooon! Just one hint! Where are you taking me this early in the morning?"
It was barely after nine and the sun still hung low on the horizon.
I only shrugged my shoulders and kept on driving.
Jimin threw himself back into the leathery seat of the Benz GT63S- my favourite car, and continued to pout.Until I took a few turns and his posture changed, his eyes lighting up as he recognized the roads and the destination, his eyes taking in the surroundings until he snapped around.
"Are we going to Lotte World?"
I tried to hide it, but the grin found itself unbiddenly onto my face.
I really was a shit liar."We are, aren't we?" he yelled out excitedly, before he frowned a little.
"Why aren't we taking the others? Are they gonna join us later?"
I let out a rough lough and as we stopped at a red light I turned his way.
"Can't I take my boyfriend on a date without our family tagging along?"
His lips dropped open, his voice a little jittery.
"A date?"
It did things to me.
The way he sounded caught off guard, his voice a little too high. The smile slipped off my lips and I swallowed thickly.
"I know we didn't get much time to do things like this. I mean... technically we did a lot of things just the two of us before, but not since we officially got together.
And then everything with Lian and X-EXO got in the way...
I know it's far from over but I just wanted to do this today.
Go on a date. Be a normal couple. Just you and me.
So.... today, we're going to just be us and forget all about wars or dark pasts.
We're going to forget about being BTS for a while too.
Take a break, just for today."I couldn't catch Jimin's reaction as the light turned green and I was forced to pay attention to the traffic once more.
He didn't say anything for a long while but I could tell he was watching me."What? You... think it's a bad idea?"
His voice was rough with emotion, small and yet full of warmth.
