I'm guessing you all are hoping that this update will be me telling you the entire ending was some elaborate prank I decided to pull and In reality it was just a silly little lie that I will make up for by releasing the REAL ending of the book, and if you ARE in fact hoping that, I'm just here to apparently disappoint you lmao

UNFORTUNATELY I am NOT here to tell you that, but I am here to tell you something else that will probably just result in you all hating me even more HDHDHD

Like I am on my knees rn fucking GROVELLING LMFAO

I'm just really proud of it and I don't think it's getting the attention it deserved, PLUS if you thought THIS book had a plot twist that completely destroyed you and left you with emotional trauma, just WAIT till you see what I did in Thorns (My apologies I'm advance for those of you who decide to read it.)

Anyways, if you're like me, and you often lack motivation to go to authors pages and read the synopsis of the book they are advertising (I do this so often don't judge me I'm ASHAMED but it's FINNNE LMAO) you are in luck because I'm just going to tell you what it's about and persuade you all into reading right here

And I will do it in the form of  a list because lists are actually the best ever created

HERE WE GO

Reasons why you should at LEAST go and read the prologue I will be posting at the end of this chapter:

1. I'm begging

2. ...you love me?

3. I love you

4. I give almost all of my characters a lot of depth and complexities, along with some interesting character development

5. It picks up REALLY fast after chapter two

6. It's a fantasy romance, which is the BEST genre, you cannot change my mind on this

7. Special abilities? Yes. Princes? Yes (that's right princes PLURAL). Caste systems? Yes. Betrayals? ALSO YES

8. The main character is really interesting, I think, like she is very shitty, and selfish, and cynical, and hateful, and violent, and manipulative, and is basically portraying the uglier side of human nature that most main characters lack, along with some of the good stuff too. Her ability also symbolizes mental illness, because of how it affects her mind

9. Psychological and Philosophical elements are incorporated throughout the book

10. Terrible plot twists, I'm so sorry I'm advance, I really am, I REALLY REALLY AM

11. Unlike a lot of romance novels, the main character is very independent and power hungry woman who is driven to get what she wants no matter the cost. So, in other words, she isn't just "oh I'm so clumsy I need a strong man to support me 🥺" she's really badass to be honest I love her

12. LGBTQ characters are included

13. It's one of those books that may seem cliche at first but the farther you read the more you're like "oh shit"

14. It's in first person

15. The writing is SO MUCH BETTER than it is in this book, I swear

16. I love when people comment and interact with my stories and I am begging you to at least give it a shot

17. I think, in different ways, the main characters are all relatable and interesting to connect with

18. You just finished this book and have NOTHING BETTER TO READ (you actually probably have a lot of better things to read but let's just pretend you don't for right now-)

19. For my girlies entering your villain eras, this will be GREAT for you I pinky swear :)

Synopsis:

PROLOGUE:

As I looked at him now, it was as if I was staring at him for the first time. I looked not with my eyes, but with my heart. And what I saw in front of me was not the boy who had taken countless lives and single handedly caused what felt like an eternity of destruction and suffering.

What I saw in front of me was a boy who would sacrifice the entire world for me over and over again without a single regret; a boy who would sell his soul to the devil himself if it meant that mine would be free.

"It was all for you." He whispered, and I could feel the light within my soul start to dim as I watched the tears plague his eyes that had once glittered joyously with life. Now all I could see were pools of despair displayed on his face. He was nothing but a canvas. A canvas that was splattered and stained with specks of crimson blood left behind by the dead that would forever mock his darkened soul.

And even as I had my knife pressed against his throat, his merciless gaze was still overflowing with over a thousand life times worth of love.

"And I would do it all again."
