The summer had quickly passed and soon I was on the Hogwarts Express with the gang.
We were talking about the strange occurrence that happened to Sirius Black.

He had escaped Azkaban and now he was wanted all over the wizarding world.

"My father says the Ministry doesn't know how Sirius escaped. It's heavily guarded with those terrifying dementors." I explained.

"Those soul-sucking creatures." Draco said with disgust in his voice.
"I heard that's worse than actually being killed." Goyle chimed in.

The train suddenly rattled and stopped.
Then the lights went out.

"What's going on?" I say with fear.

Crabbe opens the compartment door to see what's happening.
The train rattles again and it sends him back into his seat.

"Did you see anything?" Draco asked.
Crabbe shook his head.

The train rattled again which made Draco give out a scream.
The air turned cold and the window began to fog up.

As we breathed, we could see the air we breathed out.
I looked at everyone to see if they were seeing the same thing.

Then a giant hooded figure appeared before us.
The compartment door was closed so we only saw it through the foggy glass.

It's long black hands moved so the door could open.
There it was.
A dementor.
It was getting closer to us.

I heard Draco whimper behind me.
"Stay calm. Don't do anything to provoke it."
I explain to them quickly.

The dementor looked at us, as if it was examining us.
Once it found nothing, it turned around and floated away.

We all looked at each other in silence.
It was cold so I rubbed my arms for comfort.

Not long after, the train began to move again.

"What was it doing here?" Draco finally asked breaking the silence.

"I think it was looking for Sirius Black." I answered sort of quietly.

"But why would he be on the train?" Draco asked.

"I don't know." I answered and everyone else shook their head to answer Draco.

.      Great Hall      .

"As we were heading to the carriages, I heard Longbottom talking." Draco began, gaining my attention.

"He was saying that Potter fainted. Is it true?" He asks.
"I dunno. Ask him." I gestured to Potter who was behind him in the Gryffindor table.

Draco turns around.
"Potter." Draco whispers.
No answer.

"Potter!" He whispers again but harshly this time.
Harry turns around followed by Weasley.

"Is it true you fainted?" He curiously asks.
Macnair pretends he fainted from love
I chuckle.
"I mean you actually fainted!?" Draco said chuckling a bit.
"shove off Malfoy!" Weasley sneered as he pushed Potter to turn around.

Draco turned back around and gave out a laugh.
"I bet you the dementors did something to him." I say with a smile.
"Definitely." Draco agrees as he flashed me a smile.

Dumbledore began to speak.
"We have a new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher... Professor R.J Lupin"
Professor Lupin got up as some students clapped to welcome their new teacher.

"Our care taker of magical creatures, Professor Silvanus Kettleburn has retired to enjoy more time with his remaining limbs....that will be replaced with our own Rubeus Hagrid." Dumbledore announced.
The Hall was filled with cheers from all students especially the Gryffindors.

I turn to Draco. "Who knew you need to have no experience to start teaching." I spat with a quiet laugh.
He chuckles at the remark.

Once Dumbledore finished talking, the feast had begun.

Throughout the feast, I felt some of the older boy slytherins looking at me.
As I turned my head to look at them, they looked away in an instant.

Hmm.

I glanced at Draco and he seemed a little on edge.

"What's wrong, Draco?" I ask him.

He snaps out of his trance and looks at me.
"Nothing. It's nothing." He answers.
"Alright, I guess." I say before eating a spoonful of vanilla ice cream.

Once the feast was done, we headed up to our common room.
I said bye to the gang and headed to my dormitory.

"Hey girl!" I heard a giggly voice say behind me.

I turn around and Olivia was standing at the doorway.
I run to her and give her a hug.

"It's been so long. How are you?" I say as I let go of the hug.

"Same old, boring stuff." Olivia answered.
"Room for one more?" Another girl voice chimed in.

We look at the doorway again and it was Daisy!

"Hi!" I greeted before I gave her a hug.
"Well, I guess it stays the same for everyone, huh?" Daisy referred to our beds.

"Yep, sleeping in the same bed." I say with a smile before jumping on it.

"Come on! Let's have a small slumber party. We could talk about what we did over the summer!" Olivia suggested.

"Okay." I agreed as Daisy nodded.

.        Slumber Party         .

We got our pjs on and we made some snacks to eat.
We jumped onto my bed and started talking.
After awhile, Olivia wanted to play truth or dare.

"Okay! I'll start." Olivia began.
"Y/N. Truth or Dare?" She asked.

"I'm gonna keep it safe. Truth." I spoke.

Olivia clicked her tongue in disappointment.
"You're no fun." She whined before thinking about a question to ask.
Daisy and I laughed.

"Okay, this is a really basic question, but it's the only one I could think of."

"Who do you like?"

My mind could only jump to one person.
Draco.

But why?
I mean I gotta admit, he is so handsome.
I know there is something between us, but I can't put my finger on it.

"Come on, Y/N! Who do you like?!" Olivia urged.
"We promise we won't tell anyone." Daisy promised.
Olivia nodded in agreement.

"I think-" I began.

"I think I like Draco."
