Owls And Owls

(Y/N POV)

On a warm Saturday morning I awoke to the breeze blowing through my hair from the open window as I sat up, while owls cooed from overhead in the sunny sky.

I felt rejuvenated and refreshed so I walked over to Lily's bed and lightly shook her. "Hey Lils, it's hogsmeade today". I spoke as she immediately shot up out of bed.

"Oh I have to get ready!" She panicked while I narrowed my eyes.

"What's so important about hogsmeade today?" I interrogated.

She looked over with a sheepish smile. "Well, I kinda told James I would go with him......"

"OH MY GOD LILY THATS AMAZING!" I freaked as I immediately hugged her.

"Shut up". Mary moaned as she slugged out of bed, with Molly following suit.

I got dressed in warmer attire which included a blue tube top with loose ripped jeans, and a bit of dainty jewelry.

I waited for the other girls to be ready before we all headed to the courtyard together.

(Remus POV)

I apprehensively agreed to go to hogsmeade with the boys today, well Sirius and Peter at east since Lily had Finally agreed to go out with James. He hadn't stopped talking about since he came back to the dorm last night and this morning. I swore I even heard him mumbling about it in his sleep last night too. I couldn't blame him though, he had finally got the girl.

We left to the courtyard where McGonagal went over the rules as she usually did. I couldn't help but notice a boy with black hair passing through the crowd. I followed with my eyes as he walked up to y/n and Lily.

I couldn't hear what they were talking about but y/n looked unsure until she gave into a smile just as McGonagal started to lead the students to the train and y/n and Regulus walked together while Lily stuck with Marlene not far behind.

(Lily POV)

I let y/n go with Regulus today. There were a few things I had to do without her anyway.

On the train Marlene went with Mary to get a compartment for themselves. while I searched for the boys where I would meet up with James.

I was excited for us to be together today, but I hoped that he wouldn't do anything stupid to mess it up.

I could already hear them laughing from halfway down the hall as I walked up to their compartment door sliding it open.

"Lilyflow- I Mean Lily". James quickly caught himself with a smile signalling for me to sit next to him.

With a slight blush I managed to hide well I sat between him and Sirius. Something felt off. I was so used to having y/n with them. The only reason I even started talking to them was because of her but now it almost feels like that's over.

I snapped back to reality with a serious look on my face. I had questions.

"So um you know how I went to talk to Severus"...... I started as the boys nodded.

"What did he say?" Remus said with a hint of panic in his voice.

"Well uh he had no idea what I was talking about?" I said baffled.

"Well of course he is lying!" Sirius exclaimed.

"Yeah why would he admit to anything?" Peter shrugged his shoulders.

"No i'm serious he had no idea!" I reprimanded as the boys scrambled to make sense of it.

"We'll only a memory charm could do that and would get you expelled theres only one person that could of-" James abruptly cut himself off and everyone slowly looked to Remus who looked guilty.
