Potions Are Causing Comotions

(Y/N POV)

I awoke to the sound of chirping birds and the bright sunlight peeking through the curtains cascading across the room. I had woken up 10 minutes before my alarm would go off but decided it wasn't worth it to go back asleep so I brushed my covers off and went to quietly get dressed for class.

I had finished doing my light makeup and then threw on my robes. I heard Lily's alarm go off and several groans come from around the room. I had shared a dorm with Lily, Mary, and Molly since first year so we were all pretty attached to each other.

I heard the soft patters of feet touching the floor and making their way across the room, signifying that they had decided to get ready.

I walked out of the bathroom where Lily, Mary, and Molly all looked like they were decaying zombies that had just arisen from the dead and I laughed slightly at this.

"Shut up y/n". I heard them say in union, Oops.

Soon enough they came around and had all gotten dressed for they day. Mary and Molly had gone down the breakfast while I waited for Lily to find her potions book.

"UGH where the hell did I leave it?" She complained.

"If you left it at home i'm sure you could just share with someone?" I reassured her.

"But we should go I don't wanna miss breakfast". I smiled tentatively.

"Your right, i'll just write home and ask if I left it there". She nodded, and with that we made our way through the deserted common room, as students were both eager and nervous about the first day back.

We swiftly walked into the hall seeing Molly and Mary waving us over to a spot near the far end of the table. We began to walk over when tragedy struck, or so Lily says. "OI COME JOIN US OVER HERE L/N".
I whipped around to see an enthusiastic Sirius, James and peter all smiling wide and waving exaggeratedly, as Remus simply gave a kind smile.

I looked to Lily, cocking my head to the side with the same smile a kid would give their mother when wanting candy. After a moments pause I didn't wait for an answer and dragged her over to the table.

"Good choice". Winked Sirius, as I simply rolled my eyes and sat down between him and Remus with Lily having no choice to yet again have to sit next to James.

Professor Mcgonagall briskly made her way over passing out our time tables for the year, as other heads of houses did the same.

I opened my time table and felt a presence looking over my shoulder.

"What this rubbish, we have only 3 classes together". Sirius scowled as he grabbed the sheet from me.

"HEY- "Advanced this advanced that, merlin y/n". Sirius cut me off, as Peter had made his way over and James was trying his best to discreetly look over at Lily's, which she kept hidden.

"Looks like you got most your classes with Moony though". Peter added as he and Sirius looked between Remus and I's time tables. I felt a small flush on my face, along with Lily eyeing me suspiciously, which I tried my best to ignore.

"Good at least I got you in some classes instead of these gits for once." Remus smiled with a light red brushing his cheeks.

"MOONY HOW COULD YOU". Sirius yelped while throwing his hands up in the air.

"AFTER EVERYTHING WE HAVE DONE FOR YOU". James added putting his hand over his heart as I couldn't help but laugh at how dramatic they were. Remus face palmed as he picked up his toast and took a bite.

Breakfast concluded as we all made our way to double potions, which you didn't take as an advanced course since that was one of your struggling points. I guess Remus was the same.
