On the Road Again || Luke Hemmings

Part Seventeen

*Amanda's POV*

"So what do you guys wanna do? We havent really gotten to do much since you got here Em." I said and Emily nodded. "I know, but can you blame me? I havent seen Calum in months, we had a lot of catching up to do if ya know what i mean." She smirked. "Okay. Too much information. I did not need to know that." I said laughing. "Oh please, like we didnt hear you and Luke 'catching up' the night Emily came on tour." Deysi chimed in, my eyes widened and i felt my cheeks heat up. "Okay! Lets change the subject shall we?" I pleaded and they nodded. "So should we go shopping? Sight seeing? I really dont care. Im fine with anything." I suggested. "Well lets do both. It gives us all time to bond." Emily said, nudging me. "Okay, well lets get ready yeah?" Deysi asked and we all nodded. Today should be a fun day.

*Luke's POV*

"What store are we going to?" Michael asked from the backseat. "We're going to this party store that Ashton found first, and then to WalMart to get the movies, snacks and the blankets to make the fort and stuff." I responded. "What movies?" He asked. "Uh, Pitch Perfect, 21 Jump Street, and both The Amazing Spider-Man movies." "FUCK YES! I knew there was a reason why me and Amanda were friends!" Michael shrieked and i rolled my eyes and watched as we pulled into a huge parking lot. "Alright guys we're here." Ashton announced and we all hopped out of the car. After searching the whole store we finally found what we needed. We bought markers, a banner, and Calum insisted on getting confetti.

"Okay you all know what you're getting in here right? You two are getting the movies and snacks and me and Ashton are getting the blankets and stuff?" I asked and they all nodded. "Alright well lets go." I said and we parted ways. Ashton and I grabbed two sheets, two comforters, and a bunch of pillows. While walking to the registers to meet up with the other boys something caught my eye. I backed the trolley up and walked down the isle. I smiled as i picked up the box off of the shelf. "Fairy lights? What do we need those for?" Ashton asked and i just shook my head. "Dont worry about it. I have an idea."

*Amanda's POV*

"I must say, today was a lot of fun you guys." I said as we were walking toward the bus. "Well we noticed you feeling really low lately, so we decided to try and cheer you up." Deysi grinned. "Well you guys are the best. I love you both so much." I said pulling them both in for a hug. "We love you too." They said in sync. We were about to walk inside when i felt my phone buzz. I pulled it out of my back pocket and saw that it was a tweet from Luke.

Luke5SOS: So ive noticed a lot a bad things being said about my girlfriend lately and i must say that they are truly awful

I frowned down at my phone, remembering the things that were said and watched as new tweets popped up.

Luke5SOS: But im telling you all now that nothing you say will ever change how i feel about her

Luke5SOS: Amanda if your reading this and i know you are because you always get notifications when i tweet, i am in love with you

Luke5SOS: Nothing will ever change that okay. And i guess the only thing left to say is ..... SURPRISE!❤️

Confused, i wiped the tears from my eyes and opened up the door to the bus. I placed my bags on the floor by the small couch at the front of the bus and made my way to the back. I pressed the button to open the sliding door only to have confetti thrown in my face. "SURPRISE!!"
