Part Thirty-Two

*Christmas*

*Amanda's POV*

"Baby." Luke whispered, poking my cheek. "Hmmm." I moaned. "Wake up sweetie, its Christmas!" He cheered and sat up, making me fall flat on the bed. "Shit! Im sorry penguin!" He said and pulled me up into his arms. "Well now im awake." I groaned. "Im sooorrryyyy. Now come on, lets go downstairs." He grinned. "Fiiinnee." I sighed and crawled out of bed, Luke soon following after. "You should probably put a shirt on Lewi." I said, looking at his bare torso. He looked down at himself and laughed. "Yeah, you're probably right." He chuckled and grabbed a white t-shirt out of his suitcase. He pulled it on and walked over to me and grabbed my hand in his. He smiled down and me and walked us to my doorway. He stopped when we got underneath the door frame. He glanced up and smiled at the little mistletoe he hung up there the other night. I shook my head at him and laughed. "You're ridiculous." I giggled and poked his stomach. "But it's cute!" He fought and repeated my action, making me squirm. "Im just trying to be romantic." He pouted. "Okay fine." I sighed playfully and he smiled. "Yay!" He cheered then placed his lips onto mine. He pulled me closer into him to deepen the kiss. I felt his tongue swipe against my bottom lip and i widened my eyes, pulling away. "Woah," I giggled. "Slow your roll there Lewi, my brother and his girlfriend are right across the hall." I said and he blushed. "I got excited." He mumbled, looking down. I lifted his chin back up and pecked his lips. "You're adorable." I smiled and kissed his nose. "You're adorabler." He grinned and i laughed. "Thats not even a word Luke." I stated and he shrugged. "Whats your point?" He asked and i shook my head. "Come on, let's finally go downstairs." I said and dragged him down the steps with me. I got to the last step and saw Nick and Melissa sitting on the couch. "It's about time you two got up. Let's open presents, come on." My brother said, hopping up and going towards our tree. He handed me a big box with my name written on the tag from him. "Nick i swear if this is some kind of appliance im going to kill you." I scolded and he laughed. "Well shit." He said, shrugging. I ripped open the wrapping paper to reveal the bright green Ryobi logo on the box. "Why are you like this?" I asked, rolling my eyes and he just shrugged again, still laughing. Well this is getting off to a great start.

"So why didnt you and Luke open up your presents to each other around me and Melissa?" Nick asked and i shrugged. "Because me and Luke, and Emily and Calum are all opening our presents to each other together when they come over in a little bit." I responded. "Weird." He laughed and walked into the kicthen. I looked over at Luke sitting on the couch and cleared my throat. He looked up at me and tilted his head to the side. "Come on, help me grab these presents and bring them up to my room. Emily and Calum are gonna be here soon." I said and walked over to grab a couple gift wrapped boxes from off the floor. I heard Luke get up and walk over to the tree. He began piling up the rest of the boxes that layed on the floor in his arms. "Luke i swear if you drop any of those boxes, i will beat you up." I threatened and Luke laughed. "Yeah, okay sweetie. We'll see." He said and walked over to the stairs. He took one step up and one box had already fallen to the ground. "Whoops." He muttered and reached down to grab it, having the rest of the boxes fall out of his arms. He looked up at me with red cheeks. I rolled my eyes and walked past him, and went up the steps. "Baaaabbbyy! Arent you going to help me pick these up?" He whined and i just shook my head. "Nope!" I said and walked into my room. I put the presents down on the floor and went to see how Luke was doing. I peaked my head out of my doorway and saw him still struggling to carry all the boxes. I giggled to myself and his head quickly whipped around, looking upstairs. I squeaked and jumped back into my room. "You really think this is funny huh penguin?" He asked and i laughed again and walked back into the hallway. "Yeah i do." I smiled and he dropped the boxes that were in his arms and ran up the stairs. I yelped and ran into my room. Luke ran up behind me and grabbed me in his arms, picking me up off of the floor. "Luke!" I yelled and tried to wiggle out of his grasp. He just smiled, and walked over to the bed. He dropped me down onto it, making me scream. "Hey!" I said and he flopped himself down on top of me. I felt his hands crawl down my sides and start tickling me. "Luke stop!" I laughed and squirmed around. I reached down to stop his hands from attacking my stomach but he grabbed them and pinned them above my head. "I hate you." I murmered and Luke quirked his eyebrows. "Im sorry, what was that baby?" He asked and brought one hand back down to my hips, keeping one hand placed firmed on both of my wrists. "Nothing! Nothing i didnt say anything." I said and he smiled victoriously. "Thats what thought." He said and pecked my lips. "Woah are we interupting something?" I heard a thick kiwi voice say. I looked up and saw Calum and Emily standing in the middle of my room. Luke rolled off of me and i sat up. "Not at all." I said. "Any reason why there are a bunch of presents all over the steps?" Emily asked and i glared down at Luke. He laughed and sat up. "Thats my fault. But here, let me go get them." He said and kissed my forehead, before getting up and exiting my room. "So are we opening presents or what. Im eager to see what Em got me." Calum said, jumping up and down as Emily tried not to laugh. "Yeah i cant wait for you to see it either baby." She smiled. I saw Luke walk into the room with all the presents in his arms, surprisingly not dropping any. "Why couldnt you do this earlier Luke?" I asked and he shrugged, putting the presents on the floor. "Because i wanted to annoy you." He grinned and i rolled my eyes. "You're irritating." I groaned and he walked over to me, wrapping his arms around my waist. "But you love me." He smiled and i nodded. "Yeah i do." I exhaled and kissed his nose. "Okay, well if you guys are done being gross, we would like to start opening presents." Calum groaned and Emily shoved him. "Shut up and be nice." She scolded. I laughed and pulled apart from Luke and sat on the bed. "Alright, well find your presents." I smiled and Calum began searching threw all of the boxes. He grabbed all the ones with his name and Emily found hers as well. She walked over to me and Luke and handed us a big bag filled with presents from her and Calum. "Im opening my present from Emily first!" He yelled and searched for the box. He finally found it and ripped open the paper. "Ive been waiting for weeks to see what was in this box." He grinned and Emily giggled. "Well open it." She urged and he tore off the top of the box. He facial expression immediately dropped as he saw what was inside. He pulled out the horrid sweater and looked up at Emily. "Dont you love it baby! I bought for you to wear when we go see your family!" She smiled and Calum nodded slowly. "Yeaaaah," He smiled uncomfortably. "Its great." He grumbled and put it back in the box. Emily looked over at me and winked, mischief written all over her face. I laughed and handed Luke his present from me. "Merry Christmas Lewi." I grinned and pecked his cheek. He tore off the paper and opened the box of guitar picks. He looked up at me with a toothy smile. "Baby these are amazing." He said as he picked some of them up in his hand, admiring the LH engraving on them. "Well keep digging in the box Luke, there's something else in there." I said and he began searching through a little more. I watched as he picked up the hidden chain. "Whats this?" He muttered and pulled it all the way out of the box, revealing the the guitar pick hanging from the necklace, with LA engraved on the front of it. "Now we match." I blushed and grasped the pendant hanging from around my neck. "Amanda, i love it. Thank you so much." He smiled warmly, and kissed my forehead. He pulled the chain over his head and let it fall from around his neck. He grabbed the pick in his hand, mimicking my action. "I really love this so much sweetie." He said and i blushed even more. "Well im glad Luke." I said and kissed his cheek. "Now open your present cupcake." He grinned and handed me a medium sized box. I opened it up and immediately started laughing. "A penguin onesie?" I laughed and Luke nodded. "I got one too! We're gonna wear them in Sydney when we have movie night at Michaels house!" He cheered. "You're adorable." I giggled and he smiled. "Thanks, but here's your other present cutie." He said, handing me a smaller box from behind him. I took it in my small hands and peeled off the paper slowly. I lifted off the lid and revealed a gold guitar pick charm with a heart engraved on the front. "Luke i-" "Flip it over baby." He said and i flipped the pick over. On the back it had

engraved on it. I felt tear trickle down my cheeks. "Luke you didnt have to buy me this. I told you not to spend a lot of money on me." I mumbled and wiped my cheeks with the back of my hand. "I know, but you know how i love to spoil my babygirl." He smiled, pressing his lips to my temple. "But hey, now we really match huh?" He chuckled and i nodded. "I love you so much." I said and kissed his cheek. "I know you do cutie. I love you too." He smiled. "HOLY FUCK YOU GUYS DIDNT!" Emily yelled and we both looked over at her. "You guys bought us Panic! tickets?!" She screamed and me and Luke nodded. "You guys are the fucking best! Thank you!" She said and ran over to hug both of us. "You're welcome Em." I laughed. "This is a great fucking christmas so far." She stated, sitting back down. "Easy for you to say! You didnt get a bag full of dick lollipops!" Calum argued and Luke bursted out laughing. "Cal you got decent stuff from me and Luke." I giggled and he nodded. "Yeah but what the hell Em?" He asked and Emily shrugged. "Chill fam. Before i take back your real present." She scolded and Calum slumped back, letting out a groan. "Alright well let's finish opening up presents before it gets too late. We have a flight to catch remember?" Luke asked and we all nodded. I grabbed another small box from beside me and opened it up, seeing the red and black bracelet with a silver elephant on it. "Em this is awesome. Thank you." I grinned, slipping it onto my wrist. I looked around at my friends and my boyfriend and felt a smile tug at my lips. I felt truly happy. This was a great Christmas.

Everyone else finished opening up all of their gifts and now we were filling up my car with our luggage. "Alright well that should be the last bag." Calum said, shutting the hatch. "Alright well let's get goin then yeah?" I asked and they nodded. I got in the drivers seat and everyone else soon followed. I started up the car and Luke grabbed my hand in his, bringing it up to his lips, placing a soft kiss on my knuckles. I looked over and smiled warmly at him. He smiled back and kissed my hand again. "Next stop Sydney, baby."
