On the Road Again || Luke Hemmings

Part Fourteen

*Luke's POV*

After reading what seemed like a million tweets, i decided to just go to sleep. I placed the phone down and pulled Amanda into my chest. I placed a kiss to her forehead and she began to wiggle out of my grasp. Confused, i tried to pull her back but she just kept fighting me. I looked down at her to see that she was panting, and had tears going down her cheeks. "Baby." I whispered, sure not to wake anyone. When she didnt answer, i began to shake her gently. "Penguin. Wake up." I said a little louder this time.

*Amanda's POV*

I woke up to see Luke shaking me. I sat up quickly and stared at him in shock. He looked back at me, mirroring my expression. "Penguin, are you okay? You were crying in your sleep." He said, and pulled me into his embrace. I didnt say anything. I just hugged him back, very tightly at that. "Luke, it was so bad. You left me. You booked me a flight and sent me home. Emily, Deysi, and the boys all abandoned me. I was all alone." I sobbed into his shoulder. "Why would i ever leave someone as amazing as you?" He asked, pulling away from me. I quickly grabbed both of his hands in mine, not wanting to let go of him yet. He intertwined our fingers, and waited for me to answer him. "You said that the fans were right and that i wasnt good enough for you. You made it seem like you didnt love me Luke. You had a new girl already lined up. It was like i meant nothing. Not to you, not to Emily, not Deysi, Ashton, Michael, Calum. No one." I said, looking down at our interlocked fingers. Luke was rubbing his thumbs on the tops of my hands. "Amanda." He said, and i looked up. "You know that i would never leave you. You know that right?" He asked and i nodded. "You mean everything to me. You're my whole world. Nothing those fans say will change that. Ever. And no matter what i will always love you. My love for you grows stronger each and everyday Amanda. Im never going to leave you." He finished and lifted his hand to brush away my tears. "Promise?" I asked, reaching out my pinky, smiling up at him. He smiled down at the gesture, before linking his pinky with mine. "Promise." He stated and leaned in, kissing me. My hands cupped his cheeks and his found their way to my waist. "I love you Amanda." He panted. "Now let me show you how much you mean to me." He whispered, capturing my lips again. "But Luke," I mumbled, pulling away slightly. "Everyones sleeping." I finished. He smirked. "I guess we'll have to be quiet then, right baby?"
