"C'mon Luke! We're gonna be late for the bonfire!" I yelled up the stairs. Tonight was the homecoming bonfire at my school and i decided that i was going to bring Luke with me. I felt bad that me and Luke havent done much since he got back. And i figured the bonfire was a perfect little event for us to go to together. Yes, i was pretty nervous about the inevitable fans that may approach us, but never the less, everything should be okay. Most of my friends know about Luke and I which is great, because they arent caught in the fact that he's 'Luke Hemmings'. To them he's just 'Luke, Amanda's boyfriend'. And that makes me happy. I checked the time once more and it was almost 6:30. "Luke come on! What's taking you so long?" I yelled. "One minute!" He yelled back and i groaned. I heard some scrambling coming from upstairs and i got up from my couch and looked up towards my room. I soon saw Luke rush out of my room and run down my steps. "What the hell took you so long?" I asked as we both walked out the front door. "Im sorry baby. I was just trying to get my quiff perfect." He shrugged and i laughed. We both hopped in my car and i pulled out of the driveway. "The fact that you take longer than me to get ready is upsetting." I laughed at him. "You love it though." He smirked. "Only a little." I smiled and he reached over and laced his fingers with my free hand. "We're going to be late you know." I groaned and he nodded. "Yeah i know, all because some asshole took to long." He huffed and smiled over at me. "I hate you, you know." I grumbled, playfully. "You and i both know sweetie, that that's not true."

We arrived at school just before the homecoming court was announced. I looked over at Luke and he smiled down at me, putting his hood up in the process. I shot him a confused look and he shrugged. "Just in case." He said and i shook my head. "You do realize its going to be getting dark in a little bit right?" I asked. "Well yeah. But its just in case. Fans can recognize this quiff anywhere." He stated and i laughed. "But you literally took 30 minutes trying to do your hair at home and now you've decided to cover it up? Smart Luke." I teased. "Shut uppppp." He groaned and i rolled my eyes. I heard a few of my friends names being called for the homecoming court and i grabbed Lukes hand and dragged him over with me. We got over just when Jacob's name was called. I jumped up and down, cheering loudly for my best friend. Soon enough, all the names had been called and the bonfire was about to begin.

I stared in awh as the firefighters lit the the stacked crates. Almost immediately they were engulfed in flames. Ive always been so mesmerized by fire. Something about staring into it really makes you think. Its calming in a way and i enjoy it very much. I felt Lukes arms snake around my body from behind me, resting his chin on top of my head. He began swaying us back and forth as we continued to stare at the fire. This couldnt have been a more perfect moment. I felt Lukes head pull back from mine and him place a kiss on my cheek. He began peppering little kisses down my jaw, causing me to giggle. I turned my head to look and him and he smiled down at me, complete admiration in his eyes. "I love you so much." He breathed and my heart started racing. "You are the best thing that has ever happened to me and i just love you so much. You're mine forever." I felt a stray tear fall from my eyes and i quickly brushed it away. "I love you too Luke. So much. You're mine forever as well. You gave me this remember?" I teased, waving my promise ring in front of his face. "You're stuck with me." I added, laughing slightly. "And I wouldnt have it any other way. Im serious Amanda, you're it for me. You're all i want. Nothing could ever change that. You're it, love."
