*Luke's POV*

I walked into Amanda's room to see her face buried in her Sociology textbook. She's been like this for the past 2 weeks. Constantly studying all of her materials and preparing for her midterms that started earlier this week. And throughout those 2 weeks she's been stressed and anxious and overall not her normal self, but all of that negativity will be gone after she finishes her last test later on today and her spring break begins.

"How's studying going sweetie?" I asked and she glanced up at me for a short moment before gluing her eyes back onto the book. "S'okay I guess. Sociology is my best subject this semester so I should be fine."

I sat down next to her and kissed the top of her head. She looked up at me and smiled. "You'll do great like always." I grinned, pulling her into my side. She dropped her book and wrapped her arms around my torso. "Thanks for having so much faith in me loser." She mumbled, making me laugh. "You're welcome dork."

I glanced over at the clock and my eyes widened at the time. "Shit sweetie you gotta get going so you're not late." I stated and she jumped up. "Fuck!" She yelped and slipped on her vans and grabbed her keys. "Okay bye I love you." She rambled, pressing a quick kiss to my cheek before rushing out of the room. "I love you too! Good luck!" I yelled, getting a loud 'Thank you!' in return. I heard the front door slam and her car start then speed down the street.

I hastily grabbed my laptop from the bed and opened up the web browser. I smiled to myself as I typed in the airlines website and smiled even bigger once I bought our tickets.

Amanda is going to have the best spring break ever.

*Amanda's POV*

I drove home in a hurry, excited to tell Luke how I did on my Sociology midterm. But I'm even more excited that spring break has finally begun. I can't wait to go home and relax and have a stress-free 10 days watching old SVU re-runs with the love of my life; Elliot Stabler.

Oh, and Luke will be there too.

I pulled into my driveway and quickly made my way into the house. "Luke!" I yelled as I ran through the front door. I heard a long thud come from upstairs followed by a groan. I jogged up to my room and found Luke lying on the floor next to my bed, clutching his knee. "Shit, are you okay?"

"Do I look okay? You scared the shit out of me! I didn't expect you to be home so soon."

I let out a soft giggle and he looked at me with narrowed eyes. "Oh you think this is funny huh?" He asked and I shook my head no. " 'Course not bub."

"You're just lucky that my knee really hurts because you would've been thrown over my shoulder by now."

I gasped. "Yeah that's too bad." I shrugged, walking towards my door. "Heeeyyy, where are you going?" He whined. "Downstairs to get my boyfriend an icepack for his boo-boo." I cooed, making him roll his eyes. "Well, hurry back. I have something to tell you."

"Ooooooo, what?" I asked, my voice laced with curiosity. "I'll tell you when you come back upstairs, no would you please hurry? I think I may have actually shattered my knee cap."

And with that, I laughed and ran downstairs to grab an icepack from out of the freezer. When I got back into my room Luke was still lying on the floor, except this time he was flat on his back and holding his phone above his face. I quietly walked over to him and placed the icepack on his hurt knee, causing him to shutter. I looked over at him and saw his rubbing his nose. "Did you drop your phone on your face?"

"....no?"

"Okay since when are you clumsier than me?" I laughed and he groaned, sitting up. "Your clumsiness is rubbing off on me. I think we spend too much time together and that we should take a break." He said, shoo-ing my hand off of the icepack and placing his on top of it instead. "You're joking right?"
