"What if it was the prince who needed saving?"
Not receiving an ounce of love even in his childhood, he became heartless. His cold exterior scared people away, and not to mention his detached, unemotional personality. Haunted by his past, he was use...

The name throbs in my head when he starts walking towards me with a mischievous glint in his eyes. He's dressed in a plain white button-up and his sleeves are folded. Now, that would've been a huge turn on if it wasn't Zane Motherfreaking Aleksander.
I try to move. I try to move so desperately. But his gaze is completely fixed on me, and it's hard to breathe, let alone run. I freeze in my seat.
A single strand of jet black hair lays on his forehead, and a devilish smile decorates his lips. He walks over to the counter right behind me and orders something. His deep, throaty voice sends shivers down my spine.
I sneakily look at him from the corner of my eye. God forbid, if someone was in front of me right now, they'd think I was a slenderman wannabe.
He rests his elbows on his knees and takes a sip of his whiskey. Is that whiskey? That looks like caramelised water. I take a mental note to look up caramelised water when I hopefully get back home.
I slowly lift the glass to my lips and drink. At this point, it feels as if he can hear the sound of my heart over the loud music of the club. I finish my drink and place it down on the counter. My legs wobble.
I clear my throat.
I know this is stupid. I know apologizing to the son of satan isn't my brightest idea, but it's better than fearing for my life for the rest of my days. My heart blasts when he gently brushes away the strand of hair that was getting in his eye. My head suddenly feels a little heavier.
"I- ahem" frick frick frickedy freaking frick.
He doesn't even budge. He continues to stare at a dot in front of him. I doubt if he heard my attempt of trying to fix it all.
"I'm sorry for getting in front of your oh-so-expensive car even though it almost killed me" I blurt it all out.
I did not need to add the oh-so-expensive part. Frick, now he'll probably be even madder and kill me on spot. Great job, Astraea. You succeeded in getting yourself killed.
For a moment, I doubt if he's deaf. That'd be perfect. God, how I wish he was deaf.
He stands up and leaves.
He fricking leaves and insults my entire existence. That man is getting way too ahead of himself. How dare he ignore me like that?
I do the dumbest thing I can think of.
I follow him.
