"Easy, Zane" we lower him on the bed, pulling the sheets over his large frame.
I wipe my forehead. "You're so heavy. Maybe you should stop working out so much"

Do muscles add weight? Do you get heavier if you have tons of big, fat muscles?

He grunts as Felix adjusts his pillow. I grin. I know how much he hates being dependent on us.

"Now, listen to me for once" Felix turns to him.
"No moving. No working. No nothing. If you need anything, call us. If you need to move to get something, call us. If you're hungry, call us. You better take your meds on time and no fighting over anything. Am I understood?"

My jaw falls to the floor as Felix proceeds to tell him what to do.
Shit is about to go down.

He growls "Don't fucking order me around"

Felix rolls his eyes.
"Why? You're gonna fight me? Fix your broken rib first, boss"
My hand automatically slaps over my mouth. He's having way too much fun with this.

Zane groans as he turns towards the ceiling.
"Once I get better, I'm firing all of you fuckers"

Bianca snorts. "Why not right now? Is it because you need someone to look after you?"

We break into a fit of laughter. Poor Zane looks like he's about to blow up, and honestly, I don't blame him.

"Now, I have a little something I need to take care of. Astraea, take care of him and don't let him stand up" I salute and he leaves, taking Bianca with him.

Now it's just me and Zane.

I take a seat on the sofa, grabbing a book from the shelves and crossing my legs on the table. This is also the first time I've ever seen his room. Like, his room at home. It's large, grey, and boring but the lights are pretty.

It's got a large bookshelf but that seems like the only decor it's got. I get a random idea.

"Zane, what do you say I give the room a makeover? It looks sad" He glares at me like I'm the reason he's in this position.

"You wouldn't dare" I roll my eyes. Typical.

The next few hours pass in a blur, with my nose in a book and him sleeping. Finally, it's time for dinner.

I get up after finishing the book and walk to the kitchen. His house is absolutely breathtaking. It's large, but it also gives a mature vibe, if you know what I mean.

I walk to the black and gold marble kitchen counter and proceed to make him something to eat.
I make him some mac and cheese since that's one of the only things that I know how to cook.

After grabbing a glass of water for him, I walk back to his room. He's on the laptop, phone in hand. I roll my eyes.

"Can you go two minutes without working?" I place the bowl of mac and cheese on his bedside table, along with the glass of water. He stares at it sceptically before meeting my eye.
