Waking up alone in a room I don't recognise has to be the most traumatising moment of my life. My mind was running wild with thoughts like 'did I sleep with someone?' 'Did I get too drunk and fuck some random guy?' 'Did I get kidnapped?'

The answer is none of the above and all of the above at the same time.

I did, in fact, get kidnapped. Not exactly kidnapped, but I did get taken away to somewhere that I don't recognise without my permission.

Drunk women can't give permission, you idiot.

Now, I'm here next to Felix, who is supposedly driving me home. Even though he doesn't know where I live and I don't know where I am.

"I want an Icee"
"Shut the fuck up"

A few moments pass before I want an Icee again.

"I want a blue Icee"
"Astraea, shut the fuck up before I throw you over the bridge"

We try every single path and street until we reach somewhere that I recognise.

"Times Square!" I shout and Felix immediately stops the car, turning to me with a large grin on his face.
"You know how to go home from here? Oh, thank goodness. I thought this day would never come!"

He holds his hands up and starts praying to the gods about something. I shrug and get out of the car.

"Astraea!" I hear him shout once I reach near my favourite shop in the entirety of NYC.
I turn around to find him jogging towards me, something in his hand.

"What?"
"I'm here to say thank you"
I smile
"Really?"
"No. Take your fucking phone and never leave any of your stuff in my car again or I will set fire to it"

He shoves my phone in my hand and rushes back to his car, driving off. I stare at the car until it gets out of sight. Then, I shrug and go get myself an Icee. A blue one.

"Oh my god, Trea! Where were you? We got so worried! You normally tell us before staying over at a friends house

"Oh my god, Trea! Where were you? We got so worried! You normally tell us before staying over at a friends house. What happened? Why do you look like you were in a street fight?" My mom stuffs my face in her shoulder the moment I walk in through the door.
