Jackson's pov
"What have you got?" I asked my assistant officer.
"For the past days Lisa and Jennie haven't met,same as Jisso and Rośe. Rosè were busy in her project, same as Jennie..."he said then showed me some pictures.
I sigh then sat on one of the seats.
"Sir Jackson?" a officer called from the door then walked towards me.
"Someone sent this to you." he said then handed me a small envelope.I accepted it then nodded.
I started to open it. It was photos that made me move in my seat.
"It was Jennie and Lisa." he said next to me. I checked the other photos.
First photo was them in a parking lot talking to each other, second photo shows them in a parking lot too, Lisa's standing back from the camera.The third photo seems in the hospital.
"I think somethings inside." he said then pull something from inside the enveloped.
"USB??" I utter in surprised. I grab it from his hands and opened my laptop.
"Si-sir it was a clip." he utter. I opened the only vedio inside and it was in the parking lot.
Jennie was in her way to the parking lot then a car was driving towards her but all of a sudden someone run for her and pushed her away, they both end up thrown in the ground. When they both stood up I just recognized the other person, it was a woman. Lisa Manoban.
"Si-sir? Someone tried to kill Jennie Kim? Do you think Lisa is really capable of harming her when in fact she save her?" he said that paused me.
"I-it wasn't Lisa... She can't do it. Then who??"
"I have no idea... Tss it's hard." he utter.
If it wasn't lisa then who have another motives? Does it Kim Jisso? Or Roseanne?How about Jungkook? What does he knows?
"Do you remember when Lisa says she was supposed to meet Jungkook?" he suddenly said that made me look at him.
"What?"
"That she was supposed to meet him because she's inviting him outside, but she's clearly lying... Then if we will depend on the footage, it wasn't her who's in a rush but Jennie Kim.If Lisa were lying obviously because of Jennie Kim...The question is... Who killed Jungkook? It's obviously not Jennie, someone is already inside his room before they came. "he stated. He was right.
" But the footage were missing... But, I think i need Jungkook background. Find anything, his schedules, where he always goes, who he met before he died." I said.
"Sure. Well.. He have a house aside from his condo. Why don't we checked it first?"
"Really??" I utter in surprised.
I will definitely find you...whomever you are. I know you were there...
Jennie's pov
I pull out my phone and removed the simcard, break it in half then throw in the trashcan. I throw a last glance at my phone and throw it.
I returned inside my house and find Mino sitting in the couch while checking his phone.
"Mino, find me another phone." I told him.he throw me a look then put down his phone.
"Why? Where's your phone?"
"I don't need it anymore. I want new phone..." I utter then pursed a smile.
"O-okay fine..." he hesitantly utter then I take the stairs.
"Je-jennie ??Jennie have y-you seen this??" he suddenly asked in panicked that stop my track. I throw him a look and he seems so shocked almost frozing in his seat.
I rushed walking down the stairs and walk towards him. I grab his phone and i almost drop my self.
Someone made an article about me. Claiming that I were dating a woman and it's already trending. I checked it again and it doesn't link to anyone.
"I-is that true???" Mino asked that made me grip his phone.
"THAT WAS A LIE MINO. DO SOMETHING." I strictly said then gave him the phone. I felt my knee weaken but I need to compose my self.
Who the hell made that article!? Is it Lisa?? Rosè?? Jisso??
K-kai.... Is that you?? But no way, he doesn't know my secret.
"Your mom is calling!" he said that made my pulse pulpitate. He throw me a worried look then gave me his phone.
"Mo-mom about what —"
"MEET ME IN MY OFFICE, RUBYJANE." she seriously utter over the phone then hang up.
I bit my lower lip then clenched my fist.
Lisa's pov
I keep calling Jennie but she wasn't answering any of my calls and then now she can't be reached.
Ignoring me made me feel worried more that's why I am on my way to her house. But I am noticing someone tailing me,I stopped my car at the side of the road then left my car.I stood up on the road waiting for the black car behind me.
The car slowed down so I walked towards it. It stopped right infront of me so I could see the driver through the glass.
He set his car at the side of the road then go out of his car.
"Why are you following me??" I asked him. I thought the case were close,is he investigating again?
"The case were close, why do you need to tail me? I was proven innocent so I think it is not necessary to follow me." I added.
"Ms. Manoban... It was another set of case aside from the first one. I know you were proven innocent becuase Jennie claimed it and I believed her. But I think we have alot to talk to... If you truly want to be proven as innocent then please cooperate this time. "he said that surprise me.
" B-but Jennie already closed the case—"
" Yes she was, but her father opened the case. He wanted to find the culprit. "he answered.Jennies father??
" Since we've already met,maybe I could asked you now. "
" I told you everything before. I don't what to repeat everything again. "
" You don't need to repeat a lie Ms. Manoban. "he said that paused me. He smiled then walked towards me.
" You lied about Jungkook, I also know that you were protecting Jennie. I just want to know why. "
I look away then gulped. How did he knows that.?
"I also want to know who.. Who's blackmailing Jennie Kim?" he added that made me look at him.I suddenly lost my words.
"I-I don't know..."
"Ms. Manoban, sometimes you have to be honest if you want to save a life. If you truly care for your friend why aren't you doing something to help her? Or you just really want her to suffer?"
"Are you judging me??"
"No, I'm judging your friendship. Why? Why is it hard to say it?" he said that made me clench my teeth.
"Lisa.. I know you care for her. I just need your cooperation, you are the only person that could be trusted, and I'm sure Jennie trust you." he utter. I heavily breath then look away.
How could I?? I know it will help b-but I can't lose a friend...
"Lisa? You have to Save her..." he utter that made me look at him.
No, I should do this... I know what right and wrong...

"O-okay fine. Fine, I'll tell you." I finally utter after gaining my courage.
