It was finally the end of school and I could go home. I'm so thankful that's today is Friday if not I would have jumped. The amount of times I think of unaliving myself because of school is concerning.
I get into my car and then I hear the passenger door open.
"Hey G"
Fucking Brooklyn
"Why are you in my car"
She starts giggling hysterically.
"Well I'm having a party later tonight"
"That's interesting"
I wonder where Lanea is.
"Yh"she giggles again.
I don't recall cracking a joke.
"Anyways I wanted to ask if you're coming"
"I mean I will if Lan-
"She said she's coming!"
"Uh ok I'll see you there I guess"Then she places a kiss on my check and leaves the car. That was strange.
Normally I would ask Lanea herself if she's going but she goes to the gym around this time so I'm just gunna ask her when I get there.
At the gym
Arriving at the gym I start looking for Lanea and I spot her stretching and jog over.
"Ms Gates"
She turns around and gives me a slight smirk.
"Mr Romano. I thought you weren't going to come." She looks me up and down.
"Well I'm here aren't I" I sit on the mat and continue stretching with her.
After that we went in the treadmill for about 10mins then did some weights and repeated 2 more times. When we are done we do our final stretching then I ask a question.
"Lanea"
"Yh"
"We just finished like 2 hours at the gym how are you still wearing a hoodie. Aren't you hot."
Lanea'sPOV
"If u wanted to see my tits just say that"
"I didn't mean it like that I just wondering cause I'm sweating like hell" he turns red
"Are you blushing right now"
"No I'm not" then he turned his head to the side
"If you want a strip tease you can always ask but I'm gunna have to charge you"
"Like a stripper"
"Yh but you're only allowed to throw 100 dollar bills"
"Oh yh"
"Yh"
We started laughing and then sat in a comfortable silence.
"I don't feel comfortable having my body out like that. Not like in a conservative way I'm just..."
"Insecure" he responded and looked me. He held my chin and continued. "You are beautiful Lanea. Like my sister says 'fake it till you make it' not me though but you get"
"Thanks"and i just turned my head.
"Is the Lanea Gates blushing"
"Don't lie on me like that have you forgotten I'm 100% negro"
We started laughing
"Are you going to Brooklyns party"
"Nah. She doesn't even like me. I don't have know why she invited me in the first place. Are you going?"
"I was going to go cause she said you were going but you aren't so here we are"
We walked back to the car and went to get some pizza
"Are we meant to be eating unhealthy stuff right after working out"I questioned
"I don think so but if you wanna take some green juices and protein shakes we can go home"
"Now when did I say that"
We laughed.
"Wanna play uno"
"What would the winner get"
"We can decide after"
"Deal"
He ended up winning and it was times like this that I wish I don't agree to him cause he wins every time.
Giovanni's POV
"What do you want" she said. I know she's tired of me.
"We are going to the party and no buts"
"But I dont have a thing to wear and I don't like parties"
"Well we can go to you-""
"NO!!"
"Um ok. My sister should have something." What's she hiding
We drove off
