Chapter 33

Laneas POV

I wake up with the sun shinning on my face and groan. I attempt to look over to check the time but Giovanni's arms are wrapped tightly around me. After some time his arms release me and I get up from the bed.

Quickly putting my shirt on I enter the bathroom to use the toilet and think. I can go to Sunny's house today or invite her here so she can remove the chip in my shoulder and most of my issues will be solved. I kept the remote form earlier so we could find others and destroy them.

I get up and wipe then wash my hands. Normally I eat before bathing and brushing my teeth so I put some shorts on and leave the room. I walk down the stairs quietly assessing the area to make sure I'm alone while I eat. Once the coast is clear I make some waffles and take some Gio and run back to the room.

As I enter in he was already awake sitting up frantically looking around.

"Who are you looking for?" I ask and close the door. He looks at me and the stress on his face wipes off and he sighs of relief.

"Nothing just nothing. You made pancakes?"

"Waffles yep you can have some."

"Thanks." He says and he eats in silence.

"Can we go to Sunny's house I need her to do something for me."

"Is it important cause I have something planned for us today."

"It is I'll be real quick and hour max then we can do whatever." I say.

Is something special happening today. I shake the thought away and we talk a bit.

Few minutes later we shower and get clean then he drives me to her house. He drops me off then drives away.

She opens the door and gives me hug. I hug her back lifting her up a bit.

"Lanea how have you been I've tried calling you since weeks ago."

"I'm so sorry it's just a lot has been going on. And I haven't been checking my missed calls."

"It's ok what are you here for." She questions me.

"I need you to remove the chip in my shoulder."

"Of course yh come over."

She takes me to her surgical area and gives me some anesthesia. I see her pull out her tweezers and stuff and she gets to work.

1 hour later

I wake up and look at my surroundings. I see Sunny frantically pressing something on her screen and whisper a dammit.

She turns to me and holds a finger to lip for me to keep quiet.

"There's some people outside looking for you you see that vent over there climb through it. Heres a phone and good luck." She whispers

I stand up and as I leave I turns around give her a hug. "Thank you for everything." And I let go and crawl through the vents.

The anesthesia was still in my system and I was so tired. The vent felt small and I hated it. I heard loud masculine voices from behind me and I started moving faster. I made it to the end of the vent and I find my self in a sewer system

"You're joking." I say.

I must of taken a wrong turn or something. I walk around and spot some light coming from above. I look around and there's no way for me climb up. Cover my knuckles with my shirt and punch the cement wall trying to make indents to climb up but it was taking to much time.
