Chapter 21

Dream

I open my eyes and all I'm surrounded by is darkness. I try moving my hands but they've been tied to a pole I think. My sense start to get back to normal and I use my shoulder to try and move my blindfolds and it worked

Looking around I spot a small light and some wholes in the ground. Then I here and announcement to rough a speaker.

"And now subject 023 will be undergoing the water test."

Water test? I look towards my arm and see those numbers tattooed into my wrist and I hear the sudden sound of water rushing. The water starts to fill up and I quickly stand up. I try breaking the cuffs on my hand it works. I bang and kick and punch the door but it doesn't budge. The water is at my waist now and I feel it rising faster than before but swim down looking for something but nothing could help me. I go back to the top to be met with and inch or two of air. I take my last breath and let the water consume then I hear shout from outside

"Your gunna kill it."

"She's the only test subject we have that's has accepted the things we injected into her we can't do this." Another speaks

They continue their bickering but I run out of air in my lungs.

I wake up and look at me surroundings and realize that I'm home and safe. Recently I have been having these nightmares of me being going through serious trainings and in don't if they're real or not. I get out of bed and look at the time on my alarm see that it's 12pm which doesn't make sense because me and Gio left the museum at that time.

I look all over for my phone and when I finally find it a check the date and it's the same month and day but it was 4years before.

What in the world

I open my door and run downstairs and it seems like the house is empty. Was I really unconscious and no one is watching over me.

I stand still in the room but then notice an unfamiliar chair, I walk closer to it and something tells me to sit on it so I do.

But the moment that happens I regret it because the room completely changes to the room I was in my dream.

"No. No. No." I start panicking I get up and start banging on the door and the one way window.

No this can't be real.

"Lanea." I hear a faint whisper.

The voice repeats it self over and over again getting louder.

I feel something shake my body and I jolt up to my feet and my eyes open again.

I look at my surroundings to see Gio and my parents sitting down.

"Drop the knife." My dad says trying to calm me down.

I look to my hands and there's a knife in my hand ready to be thrown. I look into my parents calming gaze and drop it. I'm still wearing the clothes from earlier today.

"It was all a dream." I say to myself

I feel my self getting light headed again and then my legs give out. Before I reach the ground I see Gio come towards me and catch me in time before everything goes black.

Giovanni's POV

The time we had at the museum was a dream come true. Not only did it make me realize how much I lo-liked Lanea but I got to kiss her for the first.

Not drunk.

It was a dream come true and she decided to go a date with me. It was all I could think about when we were in the car until we got shot up.
