Chapter 23

After all the stuff that happened the school day was over and I took Luna and Luca back home. I walk through their door and see mr and mrs and Giovanni. I feel the anger rise in my body.

I see mr and mrs engulf their kids in a hug and I look at Gio.

"Why didn't you tell me you were leaving school and why are you wearing a police uniform." He says angry. I notice his eyes linger on me and notice that some of the buttons on my shirt burst open due to how tight it was and my cleavage was out.

I internally roll my eyes. Men are so easy.

I walk further into his house to his room.
"Giovanni come upstairs." I say and walk up the stairs.

I hear his parents and siblings whisper things like 'oh you made her mad' and giggle amongst themselves but quite frankly I was to pissed to care.

I walk towards his big window and wait for him to enter. I hear him close the door. "Sit down." And he quickly sits down.

"Giovanni I'm going to speak and you will not interrupt me or open your mouth while I talk until I'm done." I turn around and he nods.

"Let me tell you a funny story that happens today. I was enjoying my stale school lunch outside when I get a call from Luna talking about oh I should come. I send you a text telling you to join me in the car and after waiting for some time I leave without you. I enter the school to see the windows have been shot at and some dead bodies of teachers and a police officer in the hallway. Are you following?"

He nods his head.

"I swap clothes get into the vents and go find Luna and not only was she tied up Luca was to with some fools in the room. I save them and they tell me they tried calling but some girl picked up the phone saying he's busy."

Some second of silence pass.

"Im curious it could just be me though but are you out of your fucking mind?" I question. "If I hadn't come in time God knows what would have happened."

"So tell me what were you doing that you could possibly not have your phone and see you sister was calling you!" I shout.

I feel my brain spinning but not in away of feeling like I would faint but something was erupting me. I put my hand on my head and rub it trying to calm down.

"Lanea are you ok." I turned and look him right in his eyes and he sat back down in fear. My eyes soften and I walk towards the door. I take a deep breath before leaving to the door and look back at him.

"I know we aren't together so you can see whoever you want. God why do I even care so much. Your siblings needed you and you couldn't help. Don't let this happen again." I say finally closing the door.

I look at my hand and the doorknob not only was pulled out but was crushed in my hand.

I let go of it and walk down stairs and look into the Living room noticing Luca and Luna staring at me almost in horror from my voice and I close the door.

I think between taking my car but I knew I wasn't in the right mind so decide to walk home. I took my bag and look for my mini bag that normally has my meds in it but it's not there.

I walk out and make my way home but the longer I walk the more and more angry. 10mins pass and it's getting dark surprisingly really early. As I walk the streets someone bumps into me and everything turns red.

The next day

My eyes flutter open and I look around. And I'm in my living room. I don't remember how I got here. I stand up and look down my body and it's completely covered in blood. But none of it is from my body.
