Victoria Donovan was instantly infatuated with Alexia Gilbert, when they first met.
Of course, when her brother Matt Donovan told her that they'd be spending more time with the Gilbert siblings as he was dating Elena Gilbert, she never expected to find herself attracted to the loud, sassier twin.
Lexa had assumed she was only interested in men. That was until she met Vicki. She found the redhead to be beautiful, but she assumed it was just in a way where she admired her beauty but there was nothing else.
Boy was she wrong.
A couple months later, the brunette found herself locking lips with the Donovan girl on her bedroom floor. It was that moment that Lexa realised that she was definitely bisexual, and she didn't mind whether she spent her life with a man or a woman.
It was also the beginning of what Lexa thought would be a beautiful love story. But over time, Vicki seemed to have tainted the Gilbert, without either of them realising. Their relationship was toxic, Vicki was like poison to Alexia, but the Gilbert was too blinded to see it.
It all started when Vicki was at the Gilbert house, and asked to smoke a joint, on the balcony. Of course, Lexa said it was fine as they were outside.
They were cuddled together on the porch swing, when Vicki passed the joint to Lexa, offering her a puff. Alexia had done weed before, and was no stranger to it, but what she didn't know is that this particular joint was laced and Vicki didn't seem bothered to tell her.
More time passed, and similar instances occurred, but it eventually came to the point where Vicki was pressuring her girlfriend into trying substances. She made it clear that Lexa was "no fun" and a "party pooper" if she didn't smoke joints and pop pills with her and her friends.
Over time, these behaviours changed Lexa, and her relationships around her began to change. She became popular, though she was seen more as a bitch. She found herself growing angrier, quickly... with a temper she'd never seen before.
Miranda and Grayson had never seen her like this, and were growing worried for their daughter.

Over the Summer break, Lexa found herself working at the Mystic Grill. The Grill was basically the hangout spot in the small town, and probably one of the only cool things it had.
