After finally getting Nat to calm down wanda was relieved. She didn't know what happened in her nightmare but she knew it must've been bad. She could assume that it was the water boarding incident that Nat had told her about previously but she also knew how random nightmares can be and it could've been anything.

She just lay, watching her baby. Not wanting to move incase it woke up Nat, she didn't want her baby to be in any more pain or upset and she would be if she didn't get enough sleep.

Wanda had decided that she would ask Nat about it when she woke up, she needed to know what happened that made her baby scream like that. Even if it was the waterboarding, she needed to know.

Nat slept, only whining every now and then. Wanda listened to Nat's cute little snores and how her face would scrunch up slightly every now and then. She waited all night to watch Nat's eyes to slowly flutter open at 9:07 in the morning.

"Hey babygirl..." Wanda started. Nat sat up and looked around, slightly dazed. "You okay?"
"Yeah..." she said, her voice raspy. Memories suddenly rushed through her head and Wanda saw it in her eyes. They glossed over with tears as she got up and changed out of her diaper.

"Nat... come here honey..." Nat changed into some shorts before going and sitting next to Wanda. "You wanna talk about it?" Wanda asked and Nat thought for a second before nodding.

Wanda waited for Nat to start talking again but she didn't. Instead, she took Wanda's hands and made each hand hand two fingers out, the pointer finger and middle finger. She then moved them so they were on her temples.

"Are you sure?" Wanda asked and Nat nodded. Wanda closed her eyes and when she opened them they were glowing red. Scarlett mist surrounded them as Wanda looked into Nat's memories.

*memory*
Nat sat in her room, Wanda could feel the adrenaline pumping through her veins. Although nats face was set straight she could feel what her baby was feeling on the inside.

A guard came in and handcuffed her to her bed like they always did. Nat didn't seem upset by this, she let them do it. They handcuffed her in a starfish position, meaning she was stuck until someone un-cuffed her.

She lay there trying to sleep but as time went on she could feel Nat's fear getting worse.

"How's daddies little girl doing?" Wanda heard a vile voice behind her and turned to see a man. She felt Nat's fear grow to something Wanda had never felt before.

"I'm so glad I made sure you got your own room... aren't you? We have it all to ourselves..." he laughed and it made Wanda's skin crawl. She watched as he went over to Nat, who looked extremely young. 13? Maybe even younger.

Her poor baby. Nat didn't show she was scared, she kept a straight face and just stared at him, knowing what he was going to do. She felt how scared and upset her baby was...

The man locked the door of Nats room and started to undo his pants, before undoing her baby's.

Wanda didn't want to watch anymore, she went to leave the memory but couldn't. She couldn't get out of Nat's head. "What?" She said out loud. Nobody could hear her in the memory, but Wanda couldn't get out of it.

She tried again but just got grounded into the memory. She couldn't escape. She saw the guard lean over a terrified Nat as he started to kiss down her tiny, fragile body.

"GET OFF OF HER!" Wanda went to get him off but he couldn't see her, he couldn't hear her. "GET OFF OF MY BABY GIRL!" Wanda cried as he carried on.

She looked at poor Nat's face as a few tears escaped down her cheeks. She went over to her and hugged her. "It's okay babygirl... you will be okay. You get out of here and you get to spend the rest of your life as an avenger, you even get a mama to protect you from everything."

She tried to comfort Nat, who had started crying more at this point. But Nat couldn't see her, she couldn't hear her, she couldn't feel her.

Wanda tried so hard to get out of Nat's memory but couldn't, she was trapped. She couldn't watch a grown man do that to her baby girl. She covered her eyes and turned away from it, wanting it to be over. She heard Nat's cries of pain as he carried on.

"Shut up! You know you love when daddy makes you feel like this... daddy loves it too little one..." Wanda heard him say to nat. She heard Nat's cries and grunts of pain but she couldn't do anything about it.

Finally she heard him stop and get off of her baby, she turned around to see Nat with tears streaming down her face and him, pulling both of their pants back up. Wanda felt like she was going to throw up. She cried and cried, much like Nat was.

He was about to leave when he went over to her wrist and saw the tiny scratches Nat had made on her pale skin. They were barely even there, but he still noticed them. Suddenly he stormed out the room, leaving Nat in a panic.

Loads of people came into her room a few minutes later and roughly undid her restraints and dragged her to a different room. Wanda followed them and saw the waterboarding Nat was talking about.

They yelled at her as she kept a straight face, letting all these grown men yell and toss her around like she was a doll. They tied her up and lay her so her head was slightly upside down to stop her from actually drowning and they placed a white cloth over her face.

They poured water over her body and Wanda felt Nat freeze, the water was freezing cold, Wanda could've sworn she saw some ice. Nat stayed relatively calm for longer than expected. After not even a minute Nat started to scream and cry. It only lasted for a few more minutes but the damage was done. She was completely and utterly traumatised.

"Wanda!" Nat screamed, worried why Wanda wasn't answering her. Why was she crying? What has she seen? Wanda quickly realised Nat was shouting at her and she became aware of her surroundings again. "Oh my god!" Wanda cried, pulling Nat into a hug. "I'm so sorry babygirl... I'm so so sorry... I am so glad your safe now babygirl... I'm so sorry..." Wanda cried into Nat and Nat's felt her breathing get caught in her throat as Wanda spoke.

"That was not your fault, at all. I am so sorry they did that to you they shouldn't have. You should've been safe. I'm so sorry you weren't and you had to go through that. I'm so sorry babygirl I'm so sorry..." Wanda cried, holding her baby as tight as she could, worried she might disappear at any moment.

Nat, unexpectedly, burst into tears. She cried properly, somewhere she was safe and loved, while she was big, for the first time in years. Wanda had never seen Nat like this, she could tell Nat was big and Nat never cried when she was big. "C'mere..." wanda picked Nat up and held her properly, rubbing her back and whispering to her softly.

"I'm so sorry you had to go through that... you didn't deserve any of it, not one moment. You are so strong and brave okay? Your so amazing and I love you so so much." Nat smiled slightly through her tears. "I lo-love you too."
