Nat ran into her room and slammed the door. She was slipping. She hated how easy it was to make her slip. She collapsed onto the floor and started to cry before dragging herself onto her still unmade bed and sobbing.

Wanda ran after Nat. As she heard the door slam she knew something was wrong. She didn't want to intrude, Nat was clearly not in a good mental place and she didn't want to make anything worse than it was, she had already done enough damage to Nat she didn't need to add anymore.

"Nat?" Wanda called out after her, hoping she would come out of her room, when she didn't even answer she knew something was wrong. "Nat can I come in?" She waited but there was no answer. She put her ear to the door and heard small whimpers and cries, almost like a baby crying. She suddenly realised what had happened.

She quietly opened the door and went in, closing the door behind her. She went over to Nat, who was cuddled up in a ball on her bed, and gently rubbed her back. The sudden contact made Nat jump out of her skin. Wanda waited until she stopped curling up so tightly before picking her up and cradling her in her arms.

"It's okay, your okay... your safe and I'm here with you... I'm not going to hurt you." That was all the reassurance Nat needed to snuggle into Wanda and hug her as tight as she could. Wanda gently rocked Nat for a while until she had calmed down.

Once Nat had stopped crying Wanda took her through to her room as Nat's bed wasn't made. She got a diaper from her closet, quickly and carefully changed Nat and lay down with her. Nat didn't let go of Wanda. She knew Nat probably hadn't slipped since the incident, and that she was trying hard not to, but the more you stop it the harder it is to keep it under control.

Wanda just lay with Nat on her chest. She had missed the feeling of having her baby in her arms. She took it all in, just laying there with Nat, feeling her body on top of herself, listening to her tiny little snores, watching her body rise and fall as she breathed... she could go on.

It had been a few hours before Nat started to stir awake. Wanda just watched as she slept, she was glad to know Nat was with her again. "Hey, did you have a good nap?" Wanda asked as Nat opened her eyes. She looked confused at first and started to sit up. "It's okay, your in my room. Your bed still isn't made." Wanda said.

Nat nodded and lay back down on Wanda, looking tired. "You can go back to sleep, it's still nighttime..." Nat nodded but kept her eyes open. "You okay?" Wanda asked, looking slightly confused. Nat nodded and waited a few seconds before speaking. "Thank you..." She closed her eyes and Wanda smiled. "Your welcome..."

Wanda started to gently stroke nats hair, it was always so soft. She had missed this more than anyone could imagine. Nat was quickly asleep and Wanda soon fell into a deep slumber aswell.

Wanda woke up the next morning to a sniffling Nat. She had stayed where she was, laying on top of Wanda, but she was now crying. "Nat? What happened?" Nat quickly looked at wanda and wiped her eyes.

Wanda sat up and kept Nat close to her. She hugged Nat and wrapped her arms around her protectively. "It's okay, you can talk to me if you want, you don't have to, just know I am always here for you and I will never judge you." Wanda assured Nat. Nat started crying even more at this and Wanda was worried.

"What's wrong Nat?" She asked. "T-Thank you f-for helping me l-last night..." she managed to say through her tears. "It's okay, I'm always here for you. I enjoyed it quite a lot. I missed you, y'know..."

Nat melted into Wandas touch, she had missed it too. She didn't think Wanda had, and she didn't think that she would ever admit it but she did. Maybe she should forgive her, fully. And let things go back to normal...

she really wanted to. She wanted to love Wanda again. To have someone she can rely on, to have someone to talk to, someone she can trust. But it just wasn't the same anymore, she wanted it to go back to how it was.

Wanda noticed Nat was deep in thought, she knew Nat was having a hard time. She also knew that she was the one to blame for Nat's hard time. She felt so bad about it all, she couldn't even do anything about it...

"What's wrong honey?" She said before internally facepalming. She couldn't mess this up again! Luckily Nat didn't seem to mind.

"I... I just..." she couldn't find the words to express what she was feeling, everything was so overwhelming and confusing she couldn't take it. "It's just..." she still couldn't. Wanda didn't push her, she just waited patiently for Nat to answer.

"Im just confused... it's fine I..." she started. Wanda quickly intervened Nats train of thought, "it's okay Nat. I am here for you. And I promise whatever you tell me I will not tell anyone unless you give me permission. I swear, I don't want to hurt you again..."

"I just want things to go back to the way they were... I felt safe and loved and cared for, I just want that feeling back, but I just can't... I don't know why because that's all I want. More than anything. I just want it to go back. I have so much love and admiration for you Wanda but you really hurt me, I can't just ignore all those feelings, as much as I would like to." She took a breath before carrying on.

"But I also don't want you to feel bad, because from your point of view you were probably needing support and that's okay, it's a hard thing and I feel bad for overreacting..."

"Nat, you weren't and aren't overreacting. Your feelings are completely justified and valid. Don't feel bad for how I feel, I was in the wrong. I never should've said anything, I should've asked you first. Now that I've made that mistake I know that we should set some rules and boundaries... that is if you want to carry this on... which it's fine if you don't and I completely understand."

Wanda said the last bit with tears in her eyes. She really wanted Nat to be her baby again, but she knew she didn't deserve her. Nat was so sweet and kind. She had a heart of gold, there isn't a bad bone in her body. She would never do anything to harm anyone she loved. She loved with her everything, wanda broke that love. She shattered it like glass.

Nat thought for a bit before nodding. "I do want to carry it on... if you do..." Wanda smiled and hugged Nat tighter before responding.
"I want to with my everything."
