The next morning Wanda woke up at 8. Pretty average. She went to the kitchen to grab some fruit for breakfast when she suddenly heard muffled screaming and crying coming from Nat's room. She quickly dropped what she was doing and ran into Nat's room.
As she walked in she noticed that Nat wasn't awake, she was having a nightmare. "Nat... wake up. It's a dream, your just dreaming" Wanda tried to shake nat awake. Suddenly she shot up in bed screaming.
"NO! GE- go..." she looked around realising where she was. "Are you okay?" Wanda looked at her worried and nat nodded and got up to go to the bathroom, before realising she had already been...
"Shit..." Nat said as she got up. "You know my room isn't a hangout space?" Nat asked wanda. "Oh... I'm sorry I just wanted to check your okay" Wanda replied, hurt.
"Yeah well I'm fine, you can go now." Nat said with a monotone voice. Wanda nodded and left, slamming the door on her way out. This made nat jump slightly and Wanda went back to making her breakfast.
God damn it Natasha! She has been so nice to you, now your being upset with her? Your the worst person ever.
She scolded herself for being mean to wanda. Why did she do this to herself. She's such an idiot! She needed to go and apologise to wanda now. Otherwise wanda will never be her caregiver- did she really want to have a caregiver? Being little was stupid...
Nats head was spinning with thoughts. Did she want wanda to be her caregiver? Did she want a caregiver? She didn't even want to be a little!
"UGH!" Nat groaned, out loud. "Why can't you just be normal Natasha!" She quickly shuts up, realising she's talking out loud. She changed her clothes and didn't bother showering. She was already disgusting and horrible, who would even care or notice? She pulled the sheets off her bed with tears in her eyes before putting them in the washer. On her way back to her room she bumped into none other than Wanda. Great...
"Hey Nat... you okay?" Wanda asked kindly. "I'm fine Maximoff" she replied bluntly. She felt tears well up in her eyes before turning to leave. She rushes back to her room. Just before getting to her door she ran into someone, knocking her to the floor. "Oh- I'm so sorry Nat, are you okay?" Clint said worriedly.
"IM FINE!" Nat yelled as tears spilled from her eyes, she ran into her room and slammed the door jumping onto her bare mattress covering her face with her hands. She sobbed for hours, wanting her pain and suffering to end.
Wanda had heard enough of Nat crying. She knew that her and Nat might never be friends again after this, but she knew she had to do something. She stood up and went into Nat's room, closing the door behind her. "GO AWAY!" Nat yelled into the mattress through her tears.
Wanda took a deep breath and sit next to nat on the bed. "I SAID GO AWAY! I DONT NEED BABYING! IM NOT A BABY!" Nat yelled without lifting her head off of the mattress. "Nat, look at me." Wanda said gently. "NO! LEAVE ME ALONE! IM FINE!" Nat sobbed.
"Nat, look at me." Wanda repeated, not moving from where she was sat. "WHAT! WHAT DO YOU WANT!" She yelled looking at wanda. Instead of answering Wanda held her arms open. Nat looked at her then her open arms then back into her eyes. "I don't need you Wanda. I shouldn't need you." Nat said through her tears.
"It's okay, Nat. It's okay" Wanda said softly to Nat. "Come here" Nat looked at her for a second before giving in and hugging Wanda. She began to sob harder than before, she started to get hysterical. "It's okay Nat, it's all going to be okay." Nat closed her eyes tightly, wishing it would be okay soon.
"It's okay.... It's gonna be okay" Wanda repeated. Nat had started to calm down now. "Can you sit up for me?" Wanda asked and Nat did. Wanda took a soft tissue from her pockets and gently wiped Nat's teary and snotty face. "I'm sorry Wanda." Nat said her eyes filling with tears again.
