Wanda woke up to someone shaking her. "Wanda! Wanda wake up!" She opened her eyes and saw Steve shaking her awake. "What's wrong?" She asked sitting up. "It's Nat"

Wanda shot out of bed and ran after Nat's cries. She followed them into an office where she saw some of the team surrounding Nat, who was backed  away into a corner crying and screaming.

"EVERYONE OUT!" Wanda yelled. They all did so and Wanda picked Nat up and cradled her. "It's okay baby girl I'm so sorry... it's okay..." Wanda whispered to her. After about an hour of crying Nat finally had calmed down enough to talk.

"Baby, what happened?" Wanda whispered to Nat who had laid her head down on Wanda's shoulder. "Mama..." she said with a quivering lip and tears starting to fall. "It's okay baby girl... no need for tears okay? It's okay..."

"Can you tell mama what made you sad?" Wanda tried again. Nat tried to make a sentence in her head but couldn't find the words. "Bad..." she whispered. "What was bad?"

"Bad man... come an' get me..." she started to cry again. "Take me 'way from mama." She started to shake and cry just thinking about it. "Was it a dream?" Wanda asked and Nat nodded. "Naughty touch..." Nat whispered through her sobs.

Wanda's heart broke. "I'm so sorry baby girl... I got you, it's okay baby... your safe now okay? He can't hurt you anymore." Wanda reassured her, gently rubbing her back to calm her. She had tears in her eyes but kept it together for Nat.

She finally got Nat to calm down and managed to get her to sleep again, she called the only person she could think of and crept to the living room.

"Maria?" Wanda whispered through her tears.
"Wanda? Is everything okay?" Maria responded, worried why Wanda was calling so early in the morning. It was only half 6!
"I don't know I... Nat had a nightmare," Wanda said as a sob escaped her throat.
"Oh my god is she okay?" Maria asked, expecting the worst.
"Yeah shes okay now, she's sleeping again..."
"Oh, what's wrong then?" Maria asked, slightly confused.

"I asked her to tell me about the nightmare and... I can't believe someone would hurt Nat like that Maria. She's so small and innocent... how could he?" She said tears flowing down her face. "What was her nightmare about?" Maria asked in a cautious voice.

"She said something about a bad man taking her away from me, and that he did 'naughty touch'. Maria my heart broke!" Wanda cried down the phone. Maria was stunned, she didn't know how to respond. "Oh my god Wanda I'm so sorry..."

"I managed to get her to calm down because she got hysterical after she told me. I'm worried Maria... she had pushed that down for years, the amount of emotion that came back with that, even while she was little, I had no idea what to do." Wanda said tears still flowing down her face.

"Honestly... I would take her to a therapist. I know Nat hates talking, but you could go to one specifically for littles. Little Nat is probably more likely to talk than big Nat..." Maria suggested and Wanda nodded agreeing with her. "I would have to ask her... she's not going to like it though..." Wanda said drying her eyes. She wasn't crying as much anymore, just the odd tear.

"Okay... if she tells you anything else let me know, I will look online for a therapist for her and I can get shield to pay for her treatment."

"Thank you Maria... your amazing. I'm sorry this was so sudden, and so early," they both laughed together before Wanda heard small footsteps coming down the hall. She turned and saw Nat in her onesie rubbing her eyes. "I have to go Maria, a little someone just woke up..." Wanda said smiling.
