It had been a few weeks since the nursing conversation and Wanda had already been to the doctor about lactation pills. She was told to wait for a week or so and then they would have another appointment, during this time wanda wanted to try dry nursing, incase Nat didn't like it. She knew Nat would like it, but she wanted to be sure.

Nat was playing at Wanda's feet while she was working. After a few hours Nat had started to get tired but didn't want to interrupt her mama while she was working. She yawned a few times and her eyelids started to droop.

Wanda was tapping away on her computer when she felt Nat pull at the bottom of her shirt. She looked down to see a very tired baby at her feet. "What's wrong baby girl?" She picked Nat up and set her in her lap.

"s'eepy..." (sleepy...) she whispered in response. "Shall we go take a nap?" Nat nodded at the request and tightened her arms around Wanda's neck. Wanda chuckled slightly and gently fixed Nat I'm her arms. "Come on then my love..."

She carried Nat to her room, their room at this point, and lay down with her. "Baby... can we try something please?" Nat nodded, her eyes had already started to close.

Wanda carefully unclasped her bra and pulled her shirt over her head. She gently moved Nat into the crook of her arm and lifted her slightly to help her latch on. Nat looked up at wanda apprehensively. Wanda smiled down at her, waiting patiently. "It's okay baby... take your time."

After a few minutes Nat hesitantly latched on, but as soon as she did she felt instant relief. She gently suckled until her eyes closed and she fell asleep.

Wanda felt her suckles slowly stop and she gently pulled Nat off of her boob. She put her shirt and bra back on and lay Nat on top of her chest. She played with her hair and patted her back gently, she loved taking care of her. It made her feel so much love.

Nat opened her eyes and saw that Wanda was asleep. "Mama..." she whined but Wanda didn't wake up. "Mama, 'ake up!" (Mama, wake up!) She poked her face and Wanda opened her eyes and saw her baby smiling at her. "Hey baby girl... are you okay?" She said, her voice groggy. "Mama wet." She said tiredly, laying her head back down on Wanda's chest.

"Okay baby, let's get you changed, hm?" Nat nodded at the request but didn't move. "You gonna get up?" She said chuckling slightly. "Don' feel goo'..." (don't feel good...) Nat said quietly and Wanda felt her head.

"You do feel a bit hot... let's change you and have a cold shower. How does that sound?" Nat nodded and got off of Wanda so she could sit up. As Nat sat up her head started spinning and she lost her balance, falling to the floor.

Wanda ran to her and picked her up, Nat started to softly cry. She didn't feel good and couldn't even cry properly. Wanda carefully changed Nat, trying not to move her too much.

After they she lay her down and checked her temperature. It was only slightly above normal. "What doesn't feel good baby?"
"Sick... col'..." (sick... cold...) she whined. Wanda nodded and gently stroked her hair. "Do you feel like your going to throw up at all?"
"'ittle bi'..." (little bit...) Nat said closing her eyes and scrunching up her face.

"Do you want mama to go get you a bowl incase you throw up?" Nat nodded at the request and Wanda got up. As soon as she lost contact with Wanda, Nat started to cry. "Baby it's okay, I'm just going to get you a bowl, I'll be back in two minutes I swear." Nat stopped crying and Wanda ran to get a bowl.

As she got back she saw Nat curled up under the covers shivering. She felt so sorry for her poor baby. "Baby girl, I have the bowl..." she sat next to her and gently pulled the covers away and Nat whined and pulled them back towards herself.

"Col' mama..." (cold mama...) she cried and shivered. "Are you going to throw up?" Nat shrugged and reached out from under the covers and held Wanda's hand.

Wanda's heart melted at this action and smiled. "Come here honey." She gently picked Nat up and lay her across her stomach and pulled the duvet over both of them, wrapping Nat up tightly. "It's okay baby girl... it's okay..."

Nat suddenly jumped up and grabbed the bowl. She threw up into it and Wanda pulled her hair back. She rubbed Nat's back and held her hair out of her face while she threw up, "it's okay, get it all out. That's it..." after she had finished she burst into tears. Wanda took the bowl and took it to the sink before going back to nat with some tissue.

She gently wiped Nat's mouth before hugging her and helping calm her down. "It's okay. Your just sick, it happens sometimes. I know it's not a nice feeling is it?" Nat shook her head and Wanda nodded. "I'm sorry your sick baby. But mamas here and I can take care of you." Wanda said and Nat's cries turned into hiccups, and those hiccups turned into gentle snores as Nat fell asleep in Wanda's arms.

Wanda gently lay Nat down and cleaned up the bowl. She washed it and rinsed it all down the sink before drying it and putting it back next to the bed incase Nat needed it again.

"Hey Jarvis? Tell Tony to buy some kids medicine." Wanda whispered. "Of course miss Maximoff." He responded and Wanda smiled.

She felt awful for poor Nat, she just wanted to make her feel better. If she could she would give all Nat's sickness to herself, without a second thought. But instead of thinking about that she let in bed next to Nat, giving her cuddles as she slept.

Her poor baby was sick again, and she couldn't do anything about it.
