So far I had heard stories and tales galore from each of the Loki's. The more boastful of them was telling me his;
"So, after I vanquished Captain America and Iron Man. I claimed my prize. All six of the Infinity stones!" Boastful Loki announced with a proud look on his face.
Alligator Loki growled from beside me in his pool. I looked from it to the others hoping someone would translate.
The older Loki laughed at the confusion that was apparent on my face, "That is alligator for laughing and growling at the same time Y/N."
"Well at least my nexus event wasn't eating the wrong neighbor's cat now was it?!" Boastful Loki sniggered.
Alligator Loki snarled at him, lurching forwards ready to attack him. I don't know what came over me but I threw my arms out in front of me, stopping the alligator in his tracks.
"Whoa! Hey! Hey! Now come on. Don't listen to him. You are better than that." I chastised him as it's growls slowly ceased and he retreated back into his pool.
"Tell them your story, Loki." Kid Loki called from his throne.
"Me? Nobody wants to hear about that." The older Loki waved his hand towards us in protest.
"I would actually." I smiled up at him warmly after reaching over and giving alligator Loki a small pat. Truth be told, I had a feeling the older Loki's disdain was nothing more than an act.
"Obviously your Loki has not stumbled upon Thanos yet?" He asked.
I furrowed my brows shaking my head, "Not that I know of no."
"Well clearly not or he would be dead."
My whole body stiffened at that remark. "He...he did die. Right in front of my eyes."
A silence fell over the room.
"Perhaps...perhaps you should tell us your story Y/N?"
I shook my head, "What? No. I mean. It's not....it's not as interesting as yours are." I laughed nervously, dropping my gaze to my hands.
"Oh come on...you're stuck here with us. You might as well tell us. Plus it will be nice to hear a story other than ours." The older Loki smiled at me.
"Ah. Ok." I shifted in my chair, a little uncomfortable. "Umm...where do I start?"
"How about where are you from?" Kid Loki asked.
"Ah. Well you see. That's complicated." Another nervous laugh escaped me. "I was raised on earth in Denton Texas by my adoptive parents. But technically I'm half Asgardian I think? I mean my biological mother was a celestial elemental banished from Asgard. Who fell in love with the Doctor who helped her...and here I am. A product of just how much they loved each other...but clearly not enough to raise me." I stumbled over my words as I rambled.
"Wait so you're a celestial?"
"I ah. Sort of? I'm not a full celestial. Only really half. I do have powers though..." I smiled at them, "I can control the elements."
"That's good to know. It could come in handy." The older Loki said, nodding his head. "So how did you meet your Loki? It is a very rare thing for us to find a mate."
I smiled down at my hands, "Ah. Now. That..." I shook my head as I felt tears stinging in my eyes. "That is quite the story." I smiled trying to fight back the tears. "Thor actually brought him to earth. Odin had been torturing him, for his crimes in New York...even though he knew he was being controlled he decided to over look that. Thankfully Thor saved him and brought him to Tony, that's ah Iron Man?" I looked at them all. "The guy in charge of the Avengers I suppose. Well I worked for Tony. Sort of like his assistant...so yeah. Tony and Thor asked for my help, kind of harbouring a fugitive when I think back now." That made me laugh. "So, they brought him to live at my house for a while. You know while he got back to full health...So he stayed with me, stared at me a lot. Didn't speak much. He started to open up a little to me over time though. Then Frigga invited me to Asgard to thank me for helping him and that is when I found out about my past, my powers and the fact that I was indeed destined for one of the brothers." I pulled up my sleeve, baring my mark to them. "It turned out Loki was that brother. He fled the moment he found out, but he came back eventually with a potion from Eir in the event that anything bad would ever to happen to me. Everything was going fine until I got taken and tortured by Hydra for..." I trailed off, as I thought about it. That seemed so long ago at this point. "Huh? For quite a while it seems, I lost count of the days at some point when I was there. Anyways. I survived the torture. I recovered, then my biological mother decided to lead a revolution against Asgard trying to bring about a war between the realms along with the Dark elves. I fought along side Loki to defeat them...b-but that bitch. She-She killed him in front of my very eyes. My body accepted the damn serum that had been coursing through my veins but had been dormant since Hydra put it in me. But as my heart broke on that battlefield my body accepted it fully. I've never felt so alive but at the same so broken. So...so helpless. I couldn't save him. Like I did before. I watched him...I watched him die and I was too weak at that point to stop her. Then the damn TVA turned up the night of his funeral. To...To tell me that he's alive but they needed my help?!" Tears were falling from my eyes at this point. "So like the fool I am, I went with them to help them and their stupid mission to 'save the sacred timeline' and what did it get me? Stuck here. In this hell hole with no chance of getting back to him or my family." I sighed running my hands through the hairs that had fallen loose from my braid tucking them behind my ear with my love lock. "I was starting to wonder was he even alive. Until just before I got pruned. We seem to have been doomed from the very start...Yet there is nothing more in any realm that I want than to just be with him. He proposed to me. We were to be married." With that I stopped, looking to my left hand.
