We all sat together cramped into the living area of the lair, eating in silence as the sudden realisation of what we were about to do at dawn sank in.
There was no guarantee all of us would get out of this alive.
There was no guarantee it was going to work.
But one thing was for sure.
We had to try.
We couldn't stay here forever. It was no life for anyone.
I let my eyes scan around the room, taking in the people around me. I still felt slightly dumbfounded by the fact the majority of the room was variants of my soulmate.
Kid Loki broke the silence as his eyes met mine briefly. I could have swore I seen something flicker in his eyes. Fear? But it was gone as quickly as it had appeared.
"Mobius, assuming you do get back to the TVA. What exactly are you getting yourself into?"
Mobius shrugged, "I don't know. I suppose I'd like to let people know the truth."
"So just like that, you're turning on the very thing you devoted your life to?" President Loki scoffed. "If I did that you would all have something to say no doubt."
"You did do that." Sylvie retorted. Earning her a look from President Loki but she was the least bit concerned as she looked back to Mobius.
"Well, the very thing that I had devoted my life to is apparently all a lie." He huffed, running his hand through his hair. "For all I know I could have been a father or something?"
"Or a kick ass jet ski instructor." I smiled, meeting Mobius' eyes as he looked at me.
"In the library..." Mobius began, pausing as he seemed to struggle with something. "You...you had an inkling from the very start didn't you Y/N?"
I nodded, meeting his stare. "Someone can't be that passionate about something that doesn't exist in their world Mobius. How would it make any sense? Part of your memories had to still be there, hiding somewhere. You just didn't realise it because no one had ever challenged you on it before and," I paused briefly because it pained me slightly the thought of having your memories taken away from you like that, "the TVA made sure you never questioned it." I shrugged off the feeling brewing inside me, before taking another bite of whatever it was we were eating.
Sylvie scoffed, "The TVA needs to be brought down once and for all. We don't know who created it or where they are, but that thing out there does."
"Well hopefully when you enchant it, it will take us to whoever is behind this." Mobius nodded, sporting her a small smile.
"Indeed." The other Loki's chorused.
"We will have to be patient and hope that they send a branch here in time for us to see this through." I looked at Loki who was seated close beside me, "we can't just go asking for trouble by getting it's attention. That is suicide."
"We will wait until the time is right my love." He replied calmly reaching over and rubbing my back gently in an attempt to reassure me.
Another eerie silence quickly filled the space between us all, and as we sat there in the safety of our hideout we could hear Alioth outside in the distance.
"We better get some rest." Older Loki said gruffly. "We need all the strength we have for tomorrow. Our lives depend on it."
No one seemed to argue with him and as Loki and I made ourselves comfortable on the large sofa again. I fell asleep in his arms with my face pressed against his chest listening to the steady beat of his heart.

"You can't be serious?" B-15 stammered out after hearing what Renslayer had just suggested.
"Oh I most certainly am." She replied sternly.
"You want us to go to the void? To do what exaclty? Follow them?" B-15 asked, the confusion apparent in the tone of her voice.
"That's been my plan all along. She is the key to finding him." Renslayer snarled as she bent over picking up the time stick on her desk. "She just doesn't know it yet."
"To finding who?" B-15 asked, stepping closer to Renslayer. "How do you even know all of this?"
"He who remains..." she smiled.
"And who the hell is he?"
"The reason I tricked Mobius into bringing them in. She wouldn't have come willingly. But one mention of that Norse God of hers and she was like putty in our hands. Until they started figuring it out."
"I still don't understand?"
"You don't need to understand B-15. I just need you to do your job and of right now, that includes following me to the void. I want to see if they have done what I hoped they would."
"How do we get back?"
"Leave that to me."
Before B-15 could react Ravonna twisted the time stick and pruned her, before turning it on herself. "For all time. Always."
