"Xander. Phoneix. What interesting circumstances to be found in." Pierce said bluntly, standing directly in front of Xander. I stood behind Pierce, looking into the bathroom to see Phoenix stand shyly behind Xander.
"Pierce," I said sternly, trying to drive his attention away from them. I knew Pierce would find out eventually, although I didn't think it being on the middle of a plane was the best time. I grabbed a hold of his wrist, tugging him my way but he didn't budge.
"We were just-"
"Just fucking, right?" Pierce finished Xander's excuse, Xander's face becoming filled with annoyance as he looked at his cocky little brother. "Can we not talk about this now?" Xander said quietly, looking around to make sure that we weren't causing a scene for the rest of the plane to see.
"Sure Xander, we don't have to talk about the quickie that you and Phoenix were having in the bathroom," Pierce responded sarcastically, earning a glare from Xander. I had to admit that I was holding in a laugh, Xander looked completely at a loss for words.
"Just tell him." Phoenix let out a sigh, crossing her arms over her chest as she stared back at Pierce. Phoenix has known Pierce since he was just a kid, so I was sure she knew he wasn't going to be mad about his brothers sneaking around.
"Yeah," Pierce's lips grew into a smirk "Just tell me."
Xander's eyes looked from Pierce to me, before looking back to Pierce. "Fine, since you're a fucking nosy prick." Xander rolled his eyes in annoyance "If you must know, Phoenix and I have been dating for 8 months, we wanted to keep it a secret in case it didn't work, and would cause issues in the gang."
"I can't believe you didn't fucking tell me," Pierce said in disgrace, not believing that Xander wouldn't tell him. Pierce and Xander were close, but there were still things that they both kept separate from each other, including dating lives.
"I didn't have to, Aspen obviously did," Xander added, making my mouth gape open at the realization of what was happening. "No!" I blurted immediately "I did not tell him, so don't put that on me. Maybe following each other to the bathroom, only seconds apart isn't very subtle."
"You knew?!" Pierce turned his attention towards me, and I instantly knew I was in trouble. I wasn't going to tell Pierce about Phoenix, that was Xander's business. Just like how I didn't want to admit to June and Cypress being together, figured I'd let them break the news to Pierce.
"Excuse me?" A voice spoke from behind us, making us whirl around to see the flight attendant standing right by us "Is there a problem?" The four of us stood frozen, all shaking our heads no in hopes they wouldn't get busted for trying to join the mile-high club.
"Ok, then can you please return your seats? The pilot says we may see some turbulence." She gave us a wide smile, offering her hand out to the walkway. I quickly made it back to our seats, Pierce plopping down into the seat next to me.
