"Pierce, please I'm trying to study." I let out an aggravated sigh as my eyes flickered upward from the white-colored pages of my textbook. Pierce approached closer to me, sliding the textbook out from my lap and throwing it to the side.

My head spun as the words Tucker being dead had left my lips. I couldn't believe what I was hearing and my head flashed back to every single time I had been with Tucker from first meeting him all the way up to him taking advantage of me.
Most people think you'd be glad for your rapist to be dead but it was more difficult when he was first your friend before your rapist. I looked up at everyone, silence filling the air as no one knew how to exactly reacted. Tucker used to be a friend to all of us, he was a member for years and Xander took him under his own wig when his parents died. Even though he was practically family to so many of us, he knew he did the worst thing he could have possibly done.
"What? What do you mean he's dead?" Harley stood up from her seat, her eyes going wide as the words began to process in everyone's heads. Everyone looked over to Xander, who stood up straight as he fixed his posture. Xander was uneasy, obviously at a loss of words.
"Well, one less enemy to deal with," Archer muttered under his breath as he took his leather jacket off and threw it over to one of the nearby chairs. "How could you be so heartless? He was one of us." Mercury scoffed, crossing her arms over her chest as she sunk back into her seat.
"He betrayed us. He raped Aspen for fuck sake, Mercury. So excuse me if I'm not sympathetic for the traitor he was." Archer scoffed in disbelief at Mercury. I was surprised to see Archer stick up for me, even if it wasn't direct-he still was picking my side over Tuckers.
"Archer's right." Xander cleared his throat, speaking up in front of everyone "What he did to Aspen was unacceptable and we should not mourn his death. He was a traitor, kidnapper, and above all, a rapist-and Crestmont does have any sympathy for a rapist."
I plopped down into the couch, my head racing with a thousand thoughts. I hated hearing everyone talk about Tucker raping me, it made the trauma feel more real since more people knew about it.
My eyes flickered over to Pierce who sat back on the couch next to Cypress. He and Cypress shared a look together as if they both knew something. I watched as they communicated with each other with nothing but facial expressions and their body language. Cypress leaned forward, placing his elbows on his knees as he looked back at Pierce and nodded his head towards the door.
Pierce's jaw was clenched, rubbing it with his thumb and index finger as f he was debating something. I quickly looked away as I felt Pierce look over to me, his eyes becoming fixated on me as Cypress stood up from the couch and walked towards the door, letting it swing shut behind him.
I didn't look back, glancing out of the corner of my eye to see Pierce stand up as well. I listened as the door swung shut again, looking over to Xander and Archer who stood in the far back corner whispering back and forth together-trying to figure out what the next step would be.
Pushing myself off the couch, I headed towards the same door that they left through, leaving everyone else in their state of shock. Placing my hand against the metal staircase rail, my hand slid down the surface of it as I rushed down the set of stairs in order to figure out what they had both been up to.
