"Hey. What was so urgent?" Juniper greeted me as I approached her and Juniper. Both of them were standing outside of the warehouse waiting for me after I texted them it was urgent. I barely slept last night, I mean how could I- my boyfriend could be potentially be cheating on me?

Pierce came to bed about an after I got into bed, acting as if everything was completely normal. But I knew something was up and that something was bad. Between him showing up late to dinner, the second phone, and the text between Mercury-there was something he was hiding. I mean it was obvious in the text where he repeated that I couldn't find out.

"Oh no." Triston read my face, immediately catching onto something was wrong. I reached for my phone and opened up the screenshot of the text I had taken last night. Handing it over to them, their eyes scanned over the screen. I figured the text would do the talking itself- anyone could look at those texts and know something was wrong.

"That was on Pierce's phone last night

"That was on Pierce's phone last night." I explained, watching their faces fall "The worst part is I checked it again this morning and they were gone. He deleted them, which means he's actively hiding this from me."

"Oh my god," June said in complete shock as she looked from the text to me. "Maybe he's getting you a surprise or something? Surprise B-day part maybe?" Triston trailed off, trying to turn this into something positive but it was far from positive.

"My birthday is in January, it's November. And why would he be throwing a surprise party with the help of Mercury?" I questioned her logic, but the truth was I wanted to believe that too. I took my phone back from June and slipped it back into my pocket.

"Maybe it's something completely different, we may not know the context. Try not to freak." June tried to reason with me but I knew there was no reasoning right now. I mean none of it added up to make reason of, this was all happening and none of it made sense to me.

"Try not to freak?!" I exclaimed "First Pierce was late to dinner with my parents last night. He didn't answer any of my texts or calls up till then, and then he came with a busted lip. When I asked him about it-he just said it was nothing. When I got home he was in the bathroom on the phone with someone only to see his cellphone on the nightstand. Which means he now has two phones. And then I see the text from Mercury, and Pierce was telling her I couldn't find out."
