Chapter 3: Hospitals

~Mai's Pov~
I was sitting at my desk filing papers like Naru had asked me to do and I heard my cell phone ring. I answered it cheerfully. "Hello Mai Taniyama's phone Mai speaking." "Miss Taniyama do you live with Miss Aki Tsukino?" A woman on the other end asked slight sadness in her voice. "Yeah I live with Aki did something happen?" I asked my worry showing in my voice. "She was attacked and has multiple stab wounds right now some of them were deep so she is in surgery right now." The woman said sincerity in her voice. "I'll be there as soon as I can thanks." I said before hanging up and quickly grabbing my coat. "Naru I will be back but I have to leave right now." I yelled about to run out the door but I ran into Monk and Ayako. "Hello Mai what's the hurry?" Ayako asked. "Aki's hurt and I have to go see what happened." I said before pushing past to run. I heard four pairs of feet running behind me. "Naru?!?, Lin?!? Why are you two coming with?" I yelled behind me. "She is an old friend." They both said in unison before we quickened our pace.
~Aki's Pov~
Everything around me is so dark and I hurt so much. I wonder what happened after I was stabbed. My thoughts continued and then I could see. I opened my eyes and looked around to see I was alone in a cream colored hospital room wearing a hospital gown and pain shot through my stomach. I let out a groan of pain and layed my head back down on the pillow continuing to scan my surroundings. I heard the door open and quickly looked towards the door to see a brunette man walk in and he stared at me. "Taliana you should go back to england you aren't needed here." The man said looking into my eyes. "But I can't not after what I did to Layla." I answered looking down. "Don't worry about Layla she is dead." He said a sickening grin on his face.
I shot up from the bed and looked around I was in a hospital bed with a pain shooting through my body and I stared at Mai sleeping on the side of the bed. I looked around the room to see all of the others sleeping around the room too. I let out a sigh and smiled slowly and carefully standing up and trudging slowly out the door to go to the bathroom. "Layla?" I questioned but got no reply. "Layla?" I questioned again. "I'm here Tala." She answered and I smiled. "You can't stay here all the time just pass on already please." I said and she looked shocked. "How did you know I was dead?" She questioned and I smiled. "I had a vision about it so please I'll be fine." I said holding back the tears and she nodded giving off a golden glow and dissapearing. When I made sure she was gone I sat down in one of the stalls crying over my now dead sister. "Miss. Tsukino?" I heard a nurse ask walking into the bathroom. "Y-yeah I'm in here." I choked out. "Miss.Tsukino are you alright?" She questioned looking at my tear stained face. Her blonde hair lay over her shoulders carefully and I nodded. "Y-yeah just g-give me a s-second." I said wiping away the tears carefully and looking at myself my eyes were a bit red and puffy but it wasn't to noticable. "Alright we can go back to my room now." I said before following the nurse back to my room.
