Chapter 9: Getting closer

I turned my head towards the door when the others walked in. I stared at them and Lin pulled me aside. "So I got and interesting phone call today." He whispered into my ear and I looked down. "Mai, Monk, John, Ayako, and Masako go take the tempatures all over the school." Naru said and I looked over at him. "Lin, Aki, and I will figure out the sleeping arrangements." Naru said and they all left. "Alright so Monk can stay with Ayako, John with Masako, Lin with Mai and me with you is that alright Tala?" He asked me and my cheeks turned a light pink. "Y-yeah sure." I stuttered before turning to Lin. He just gave me a smile. "How cute be careful though the other girls might bite your head off." Lin teased with a chuckle and I gave a small pout. "Naru I umm well still like you though like I did when we were little." I mumbled and walked towards the door. "I'm gonna go set up a couple rooms." I said walking towards the dorms that happened to be on the other side of the school. I opened a couple doors but stopped in front of one that seemed to open by itself. I opened the door slowly the rest of the way and stared into the room."Hello?" I questioned. I heard a small fit of giggles and laughter. "Hello Miss." The same girl from earlier cooed. I had a scream caught in my throat as I stared at the mangled girl the metallic smell filling my nose. I felt paralyzed I couldn't move or say anything. "Now Miss Jones maybe you could help me out a bit." She cooed walking up to me and putting her hand on my shoulder. "Let's see here you seem to have a lot of people who care for you and you happen to be really strong. I wonder?" She cooed again taking her hand and putting it in my shoulder trying to posses me. I let out a small screech and she let out a sickening laugh. "Maybe I could trick them into thinking your fine and thinking I'm you." She said floating into me and I let out a scream of agony as it felt like my own self was being ripped away. "AKI!?!" I heard Monk and Ayako yell running closer. "N-no st-stop." I let out slowly not being able to see anything.
~Naru's Pov~
I heard a screech followed by a scream and looked over at Lin. "Come on let's go make sure Tala is okay." I said and we both ran towards the dorms. "Aki?" Lin questioned looking at the girl slumped over. "What happened?" I asked looking up at Ayako and Monk. "We came here after hearing her scream and then she told us to stop before passing out." Monk said looking over Tala with worry in his eyes. Mai, Masako, and John camping running and they looked at Tala. "Back up from her she is possessed." Masako said and I backed up a bit looking her over. "Will she be alright?" I let slip out of my mouth. "She should be fine I could probably do an exercisim." John offered. I looked over at her slumped over and then turned to Lin wanting his input. "That probably would be the best thing to do right now." Lin said and I nodded at John. He left into his and Masako's dorm room and he changed into his priest outfit. I stared at him as he got closer to the sleeping girl and I heard her murmur something. "Just be careful and don't hurt her please." I said a bit of sadness in my voice.
