Episode 13, The Firbending Masters
We came to a wide open area. On the left and the right there were stairs. One was leading up to a small temple and the other one was leading up a mountain with two caves on each side of it.

First we climbed up the stairs to the temple. Everyone stopped in front of a huge flame and the chief spoke up with his back facing us. "If you're going to see the masters, you must bring them a piece of the eternal flame. This fire is the very first on."

My eyebrows shot up and I crossed my arm. Come on, that's not possible.

The chief turned around, facing all of us. "It was given to man by the dragons. We have kept it going for thousands of years."

"I don't believe it," Zuko mumbled his voice full of fscination.

"Yeah, me neither," I commented and slightly narrowed my eyes as I felt fake Long Feng giving me hostile looks.

"You will each take a piece to the mastersto show your commitment to the sacred art of firebending," the chief told us.

"Uhm," Aang scratched his neck, "Mister sun chief sir? Yeah, I'm not a firebender yet. Couldn't my friend here carry my fire for me?" he pointed at Zuko with a hopeful glint in his eyes.

"No," the chief said bluntly and turned to the fire again.

Aang gulped and I shot him a warm smile and thumbs up. "You two can do it," I encouraged them as the chief firebended a flame in each of his hand before tunring back to the two boys.

"This ritual illustrates the essence of sun warrior's philosophy. You must maintain a constant heat. The flame will go out if you make it too small. Make it too big and you might lose control," the chief said before hading a flame to Zuko and Aang each.

Great, these two are the perfect candidates for this task. They will so fail.

"You will take your flames up there." He pointed at tehe mountain and Aang's face fell. "The cave of the masters in beneath that rock."

They made Aang and Zuko go the long way as we just took the stairs waiting for the two to arrive at the top of the mountain.

The top was just a flat ground with another stack of of stairs leading up to a platform. From there, two ways were leading each way, left and right, to a cave.

These masters live in caves? I couldn't think of one good reason to live in a cave.

I was just sitting on the ground, leaning on a rock as we waited for the two to finally arrive.

It didn't take them long, luckily and the chief and the sun warrior Long Feng walked up to them.

"Facing the judgement of the firebending masters will be very dangerous for you." He turned to Zuko first. "Your ancestors are directly responsible for the dragons' disappearance. The masters might not be so happy to see you."

Fake Long Feng put his hands on his sides and slightly leaned forward with a smirk on his face. "I know I wouldn't be."

"I don't remember anyone asking for your opinion," I remarked and raised an eyebrow at the man as he shot me a glare.

"But once they fin out I'm the Avatar-" Aang tried to convince them and themselves that that would be reason enough to teach them.

"Have you forgotten that you vanished, allowing the Fire Nation to wreck havoc on the world?" the chief countered shutting Aang up immediately. "The decline of the dragons is our burden too."

The chief slammed his staff on the ground, making me flinch slightly, before he bended some fire from each flame to a sun warrior.

Each sun worrior gave a part of the flame to another one and they manipulated the fire to circles. The warriors formed a circle as well which ended at the feet of the stairs, with only every second warrior having a fire circle in front of them.
