Episode 3, The Southern Air Temple

I flinched and let go of the cup in my hands. It fell on the floor and shattered into thousands of pieces. "Uncle what are you doing here. Drinking tea with a prisoner." He shouted and gave me a look of disgust. The scarred boy nodded to the door to signal his uncle that he should follow him. The boy left and Iroh stood up, "I'll see you later dear." He said and turned around to leave. "Jasmine." I said before he was out the door, "my name's Jasmine." I completed my sentence. Iroh turned around, "Nice to meet you Jasmine." He said smiling warmly at me. "Uncle!" the boy called and Iroh left the room the guard locking the door after him.

I am left here completely alone. Great, more time to think... Iroh had a friend from our tribe, how could that be possible? Everyone hates the Fire Nation. I must be right with the thought that his friend is probably dead by now. I never thought there would be someone who has friends from the Fire Nation.

I heard a lot of loud noises, it seemed like they were freeing the ship from the huge amount of ice but there were also human voices. Sounded like shouting. Probably the boy with his temper problems. I shook my head at the thought of him. I need to escape from here or else I'll die. I need water and maybe I can form it into a key. Then I could escape if I am sneaky and quiet enough. But where can I get the water from? I looked down to think where I could get the water from when I saw the broken teacup and the tea spilt over the floor.

I smirked and took a step back. I stretched out my arms and began to get the tea off the floor. Now I had a bubble of water in front of me which I froze with my breath. I wanted to shape the ice into something I can open doors with when I heard footsteps coming closer to my cell. Whoever that was shouldn't see my half ice key so I put it into the pocket of my coat and sat down to act as casually as possible.

The door opened and Iroh peeked in smiling. He entered with keys in his hand and opened my cell. The old man motioned for me to come out so I stepped out of my cell and raised my eyebrows.

"We got you a room, just opposite to mine and beside my nephew's," he started to tell me while going out of the cell, "We got you some traditional Fire Nation wear you should wear during your stay on our ship." he continued. I followed him and looked around the corridor which was completely made out of metal and steel. I didn't realize he stopped walking and walked right into him. I stumbled a few steps back and walked into something hard.

Was there a wall? I turned around and there was scar boy standing still that angry look on his face. I turned my head to Iroh because I didn't want to look at scar boy anymore. "My nephew will show you to your chamber and then the rest of the ship." Iroh told us with a small smile.

"What?!" me and scar boy exclaimed simultaneously looking at Iroh. "It's tea time for me now." he said and walked away not looking back once. What is he doing he can't just let me here with this crazy boy. He sighed, mumbled something under his breath and started walking away. Great, now he leaving me here too. Wait, that's actually good, I can escape now. "You coming or what." Onion head asked me. I sighed and followed him, I literally had to half jog to keep up with him.

He opened a door and entered it me following behind. The room was so cool. On its walls were Fire Nation banners, there was a bed in the corner of the room and on the opposite side there was a closet and another door. "There is your bathroom," the boy stated pointing at the other door. "There, on the bed, are your new clothes. You need to put them on. Now" He said looking at me. I took the clothes in my hand and turned to look at him.

"What are you looking at?" he asked me. "I need to change." I told him raising an eyebrow. "So what?" he spat still looking at me. What an idiot. "You know the changing thing where I need to get half naked." I told him rolling my eyes. Wonderful, now he isn't just a boy with aggression problems but a pervert with aggression problems. "Oh, uhmm, sure," his cheeks turned red and he cleared his throat, "I'll wait outside for you." He said pointing his thumb at the door, turning around and leaving.
