Oliver and Jax partner up for the simulation. We are the last two groups waiting out in the hallway to go. Finally they call Oliver and Jax in. It's just Henry and I out in the hallway now.
"Oliver kissed me." I rug out in one breath.
"I knew it! I could tell something happened between you two." He points out.
"Is it noticeable?" I start to fret.
"No. It's only to me because I know you."
"Ok good." I sigh.
"How was it?" He snickers.
"Amazing, that was my first kiss ever and I didn't even mess it up."
He gives me a high five as Oliver and Jax walk out. Oliver winks at me as we slide in after them.
I stretch out as we begin to get knocked out.
This time we aren't in a forest, we are in the rubble of Summerton. It's the part nobody goes to because of the mess the war has made it.
This time two Muttford boys appear. Henry reacts quickly and shoots and arrow in ones neck. I throw a knife into the other ones head.
We climb through the rubble and get back out weapons. All of a sudden we get ambushed by two more.
"Henry!" I say as I grab bow an two arrows. I shoot them at the same time knocking them both dead.
I hand his weapon back to him and we excel forward. Two more come our way and we take them out. When the scene shifts back to the room back in the facility General Hugh meets us in there.
"What persuaded you to grab Henry's bow and shoot two arrows at once?" He ask me with his arms crossed.
"It would take them out faster." I was worried he that he was angry by his stance.
"That is amazing." His posture shifts into more relaxed.
"You two are great fighters keep it up." He dismisses us to dinner.
Nobody notices us walk in. We talk about our moves and tactics as we walk into line for food.
"Are you finally ready to give up?" Jax taunts me.
"She's better fighter than you." Surprisingly, Henry says that.
"Oh really? That's hard to believe." Jax just laughs off.
"I didn't have to keep covering her unlike you. You can't fight at all." Henry throws back.
"What did you say?" Jax is now fully pissed off.
"What are you going to cry again, like you did during the simulation?" Henry fights back.
The whole cafeteria looks at us as Jax backs down. It truly astonishes me to see what just happened.
"Woah." I look at Henry as he turns back into the quiet boy that he usually is.
We sit down at our table as I try to comprehend that Henry was the one that just did that. Jax doesn't say anything at his table.
At bed time Henry and Jax almost get into a fist fight. Oliver pulls Jax away as I step between them.
"Woah, now." I say catching Henry's fist before it connects with Jax's face. Oliver pushes Jax into bed as I usher Henry into his bed.
