We get back to the bass quickly the next morning. The plane that flew over was an unidentifiable plane. The Air Force base is currently being interrogated.

"How long is it going to take to question 25 boys?" I ask. As soon as I talk an alarm starts to blare through the base.

"Get into uniform! It's time!" General Logan orders as boys run around.

I calmly walk my way to the dormitory to get dressed. Oliver walks along beside me as boys run around with nervous jolts.

"I'm actually not that scared this time." Oliver speaks my exact thoughts.

After I get dressed something catches my eye before I leave. One of my letters from Henry pokes out from underneath my pillow. I quickly grab it and then leave to board the plane.

I'm last to get on the plane but Jax and Oliver saved me a seat in between them. I clutch the letter in my hand as we take off. When it begins to become smoother I take the letter out of the envelope.

"Dear Scarlett,
I hope you are well. I just wanted to tell you that I am finally happy. If I wear to die in battle I wouldn't have any regrets anymore. I've found piece in between the lines of violence and pain. Every time my father got mad and into a violent tantrum he caused I so much pain. But now that I think about it I got away from all of that. I realized the hurt and pain I was put through and I'm happy now because I survived and escaped it.
My dad taught me what a man should never be like. In reality, I've learned a lot from everyone. My mom taught me what a woman should never go through and to have faith in what you believe in. Jax taught me what it's like to have a heart when your actually fighting. Oliver taught me how to react when you truly do have feelings for somebody. Alan taught me how to love again without even knowing. And last but definitely not least, you. You, Scarlett, taught me what it's like to live, even after so much hurt and pain you are still living. If there is somebody who deserves to come out of this war alive it absolutely you. Live every minute to the fullest and never take anything for granted.
Love always,
Henry"

I fold the letter back into the envelope and tuck it under my leg. General Logan starts to shout as the plane begins to quickly descend. My hand quickly finds Oliver's as the knock out stage begins to happen. My eyes roll back and everything goes black.

Once I wake up, in in a cab with fire torches lining the walls. I quickly Stan up and get ready. A body bumps into me from behind. I quickly turn around and see a terrified Hex.

"I can't do this!" He says to me.

"It's ok, I thought the same thing my first time until they charged at me and almost killed me." I turn around so that we are back to back.

My enemy looks mr dead in the eye. I keep a poker face as we move closer to each other. Hex turns around desperately an then sees his own moving towards him. I take one of my knives and throw it at the boy coming at me. He falls when the knife meets the flesh of his throat. A shriek comes from Hex as I turn around and see the other boys has him by the throat.

I quickly throw a knife to help Hex. It sails through the air into the boys forehead. He loosens Hex and then falls to the ground.

"Grab my knife!" I order as I grab my other. He hesitantly grabs it out of the boys forehead and then we run out of the cave.

Boys are fighting all over the forest outside of the cave. Bright red blood stains the green leaves of the trees just by the looks of it now, it seemed like our boys were winning.

Alan is fighting right in front of us. I help out as much as I can. Hex finally kills somebody and when he does he looks at me in horror.

"I just killed him," he seems to be feeling guilty.

"He was going to kill you if you didn't kill him." I direct him to keep going.

Oliver gathers everybody up as we fend off the remaining few enemies. They run deep into the forest for safety. There are only about 10 of them left.

"61 boys left." Alan says after his final counting.

"Let's set up camp." I order the remaining boys.

After camp is set up we go out and gather food and find a stream. As the sun starts to set boys get assigned watch hours.

"I'll take first hour you get some rest." Oliver offers and then kisses me on the lips.

"Thank you." I wrap my arms around him and give him a warm embrace.

Alan and I find a nice tree to lean against while we sleep. My hand clutches one to one of my knives as I rest.

I manage to sleep until I get shaken awake.

"We can't find Oliver or Jax. A few other guard boys are missing." One of the boys informs Alan and us.

"Oliver and Jax?" I say in disbelief.

"I'm sorry but we just realized it." The boy apologizes.

"Let's send out search crews for everybody missing." I order everybody up.
