Everybody boards the buses very early. Oliver sits with me in the very back and ask me to go out tonight.
"I was thinking we could go to the Summerton Rumble tonight. If your ok with that?" He dwindles his thumbs nervously.
"Sounds great." I agree as he sighs in relief.
"Did you seriously think I was going to say no?" I giggle.
"A small portion of me worried." He truthfully says.
Everybody is talking when we get into town. Just like last time people line up by the bus stop waiting for our arrival. Everybody grins as they get off the bus except me. Jax, Oliver, and Alan all have somebody waiting there for them. Nobody was here to see me get off the bus.
"Scarlett, where's your family?" Alan ask after he introduces me to his little sister.
"Well my brother is interviewing us and my dad is probably pulling on an extra shift." I carelessly say to hide my sadness. Oliver is hugging his mom and his sister while Jax is hugging what seems to be his girlfriend and then maybe his mom and little sister. Alan's mom was on the phone getting us a palace taxi since the city taxi's were just "too poor" for us.
"Scarlett, come here. I want you to meet somebody." Oliver yells over to me.
I walk over an try my best to smile. Oliver wraps his arm around me when I get over there.
"This is my mother, Missy, and my sister, Lucy." Oliver says as they both give me a hug.
"You are my hero." Lucy says to me. She is only about 13 who's means she is only about three years younger than Oliver.
"Thanks you." I graciously thank her as we talk more. His mother adds into the conversation until we get called. I give the both another hug and then leave. Before Oliver catches up with me they each whisper something in his ear. His mother slides something into his hand and then Lucy gives him something.
Jax pulls me into his pity argument with his girlfriend.
"Scarlett, please tell her I'm not being stupid in the army." His girlfriend roles her eyes.
"I'm not saying that I'm just saying that he needs to watch out for things because he is known for being oblivious." She introduces her self. Her name Macy and she is 17, a year younger than Jax.
"He's a full of idiotic actions. You should just yell at him some more so he really knows not to act so stupid." I joke as she begins to laugh. Her smile fades when we get called again. I walk away to let them have their alone time.
Oliver walks with me over to the taxi.
"Hey, I really really love you." He says before we get in.
