"Dr. Greene, did you receive the email?"

"I did." Alison smiled at Mike.

"You think we will have fun there along with the others?" He asked typing away on the keyboard.

Alison looked at him. "Is this you being nervous?"

Mike just laughed at her.

"Don't worry,  you'll be fine. We will be fine."

"Sounds like you've done this many times." This time, he looked at her smiling.

"You have no idea."

After their shift, residents, doctors, and nurses of ER headed to the nearby pub, Ethereal. They made sure that the night shift group was settled before they all go. It's just a few blocks away so they all walked there, laughing and talking as they go.

Tonight, Dr. Wilson decided to have a team dinner as a way to get to know each other.

Grace, Jonas, Mike, and Alison all sat together while the others were on the other side of the long table.

Before the dinner, they had to introduce themselves like the one you do on the first day of school. Dr. Wilson had to put some twists. He wanted to know all their names, talents and what would they be if they are not working as medical practitioners.

"My name is Michael Choi. I always wanted to be a doctor but if I'm not, I think I would be a paramedic." He said. He received nods from his colleagues. "I don't know if this is a talent but I was a runner in middle school up until I graduated high school."

Everyone clapped as Mike sit beside Alison.

"You were an athlete? No wonder you have nice reflexes." Alison said, raising her can of beer.

Mike picked up his own can of beer and clinked it against Alison's. "Thanks, I guess." He smiled as they both drank.

"I'm Nicole Alison Greene. Just like Dr. Choi, I always wanted to be a doctor but if I got unlucky, I think I would be a writer. I got interested in literature back in high school but got sidetracked by medical books. As for my talent, I can play a few instruments." She said.

Everyone clapped but a nurse asked her. "Can you sing?"

"A little." She replied then they asked for her to sing a few lines.

She cleared her throat.

"We're only gettin' older, baby
And I've been thinkin' about it lately
Does it ever drive you crazy
Just how fast the night changes?"

She stopped for a moment and looked at everyone. They all had this blank expression on their faces.

"Why did you stop? Continue." Dr. Wilson said.

"Everything that you've ever dreamed of
Disappearing when you wake up
But there's nothing to be afraid of
Even when the night changes
It will never change me and you."

She looked at everyone as her cheeks burned.

"I'm sure you can be a singer if you didn't become a doctor," Gracie said to her, clapping her hands.

Mike agreed as he tapped her shoulders playfully.

Introductions ended and they started eating dinner. The table was filled with jokes and laughter. After dinner, alcoholic drinks were served.

"Let's drink till we drop!" says Dr. Wilson.

They all cheered and started drinking the night away.
