Alison chuckled nervously.

"Uhm. That time, I was ashamed and I didn't think it was important to say since it was just a brief moment of recklessness so I figured out to save you guys from that. Besides, it was nothing serious." She smiled at Rose and continued eating.

"Nothing serious?" Hayden's head jerked up when she said that.

Rose, feeling the tension in the air, stood up. "I suddenly missed my husband. I'll go get him. Keep talking you two." Rosetta trudged her way outside, not until he winked at Hayden. She will just ask Alison later when they are alone.

Alison nodded briefly to the woman and resumed eating.

Rosetta was always been a 'shipper'his Mum's termto their relationship back then. And even if she knew Hayden has been an asshole to Alison, she always believed that he is the perfect man for her.

"Our relationship was way too serious, Alison. And you know that."

Alison nodded as she waved her hand dismissively, her mouth busy chewing food. She's a heavy eater, seriously.

"Fine. Whatever you say."

As the night progresses, visitors started going home. But Alison was far from going home.

Hemera invited her to a table outside with her friends to drink. And she may have consumed a little bit of her alcohol limit, enough to become a little bit tipsy. She didn't even notice that everyone left and it was only her and Hemera on the table, drinking themselves into oblivion.

"This is, so far, the best birthday I've ever had!" Hemera slurred as she heard herself chuckle.

"Good for you, then. I don't even remember having a blast on my birthday. In fact, I forgot when's my birthday!" Alison grinned behind droopy eyes mirroring Hemera's reaction.

"Hey, you two," Luke said from behind them.

"Hey, Dad!"

"Luke," She managed to nod in his direction.

"I see you've already consumed beyond your limits. Alison, sleep here. You know, you already have your own room here. Come on you two." Luke tried to pry the girls away from the table but it was no use.

Hayden watched as his father tried to straighten the two girls but they are too heavy for him. He sighed. He's been watching the two since they started drinking. He's been sipping a can of beer from time to time but not enough to make him drunk unlike these two. He shook his head. What's with girls and alcohol?

He stood up and walked towards them.

"Hey, Dad. I'll help you with Alison."

"Oh, good that you're here. I was about to call you since I can't leave any of them here alone but I can't take them inside at the same time, either."

He nodded as he watched his Dad pick up Hemera, putting up too much effort. "You sure are a grown-up woman. You're heavy now." His father huffed as he walked inside the house.

He crouched down and looked at Alison's serene face. Her head is on the table, eyes closed.

"Hey, Alison, babe. Wake up." He tried waking her up as he swept the stray strands away from her face.

Alison just moaned.

"Come on. Let's get you to bed." He poked her arm then shook her but she didn't budge.

After a few seconds, he then decided that she wouldn't wake up so he just carried her inside, the bridal style, and put her carefully in his bed.

He knew she has her room located at the end of the hallway. His room is the closest so why bother walking too far?

He removed her boots and noticed that her clothes is too uncomfortable to sleep on. She wore tight ripped jeans and a hoodie.

His muscles tightened as he gather all of his self-control to the surface.

He removed his clothes except for his boxer shorts, washed his face, and brushed his teeth before grabbing a new shirt from his closet. He figured that none of his boxer shorts will fit. She was on the thinner side and obviously have a small waist so he opted to go to her room and search for a pair of shorts. When satisfied with his choice, he went back inside his room. He thought he would just call someone to change her clothes but it was already midnight. So it's not really an option.

He sighed then closed the lights. Okay. He would change her clothes but he promised he won't look. Thus, the closed lights.

But it was, after all, the worst idea. His imagination betrayed him as thoughts of Alison in his bed conquered his mind.

He cursed as his hands touched her bare stomach. He managed to get her out of her hoodie.

Electricity run from his fingertips and ended in his groin at the touch of her lush skin beneath him.

But his rational mind gets the best of him. Good. He might have imagined Alisonnumerous timesin his bed, naked and willing, sexy and fervently responding, gorgeous and inviting, he wouldn't want to make love to an unconscious Alison. He's not a fan of necrophilia, for fuck's sake.

He want to see her electric blue eyes as he plunged himself inside her, deeper and deeper. He wanted to see her eyes as she comes for him. He wanted to see her beautiful face, aware and conscious as he spurts all of his seed inside her.

So with all his self-control that's left, he pulled down her jeans, carefully replacing them with her cotton shorts. Then immediately covered her with the duvet.

He exhaled, wiping his sweaty forehead then groaned, as he realized he needed a very, very, very cold shower.

ALISON GROANED she adjusted her position. Her head pounds like hell. But she doesn't want to get up. The light in her room is a little bit too much for her liking so she pushed herself more towards her very warm pillows, warmer than she remembered, and dozed off.

She stirred as she felt something tickling her neck.

But she can't completely move away, a strong, muscular arm was preventing her from doing so.

She opened her eyes and almost screamed her lungs out when she noticed that this is not her room.

"Damn it." And realized there was a man beside her, his face is on her neck, his breath is tickling her. She can't see his face but if her hunches were right, she had to go away before he woke up. Good thing she didn't scream like a fucking banshee or he would be up in a second.

An awkward meeting after a one-night stand wasn't on her list. But a one-night stand wasn't on her list either so how the hell did she end up in a bed with a stranger? Damn. She just wished that she didn't get into bed with a minor or one of Hemera's friends.

Their bodies mingled under the duvet. His limbs were all over her like a vine.

Alison lifted his arms away from him carefully and noticed that she was fully dressed in a shirt she didn't recognize.

Relief flooded her as the thought of a one-night stand evaporated. But immediately replaced by fear. Who could this man be?

As if on cue, he suddenly stirred as his arms tightened around her.

"Go back to sleep, Alison. It's too early to wake up." She heard the familiar voice murmured in the crook of her neck.

And that's when her head throbbed as the memories of last night came rushing back to her.

"Hayden? Why am I here in your room?" She asked as she tried to get away from him. But of course, his arms tightened around her.

"Shh. I'm trying to sleep here." He said groggily, his lips touching her sensitive skin in doing so. She closed her eyes as her heart pounded loudly she's afraid he might hear it.

"Hayden, I'll let you sleep but let me go. I need to go home."

"No. You kept me awake last night, babe. This is your punishment."
