For all we know, love is business.
Risa's summary: Zemira couldn't let it happen; her father had put in so much into the business. How could she watch the firm fall?
The proposal wasn't too good to be true, it was good enough to keep bankruptcy at bay.
Zemira weds Antonio, that's as bad as it could it get, right?
One free night before the deal. That was all it took for her world to change.Romantic and fascinating!
This book will have you rooting for a happily ever after right from the start. The voice with which this book was written I must applaud; it was engaging, easy to follow, easy to understand, and easy to love.
I particularly loved how the author focused not only on describing external scenes, internal scenes were also given due attention, readers could see what went on in each character's mind. Emotions were duly conveyed.
However, to me it was just too sudden - the proposal. I understand diving into the action, but the call, the brief conversation, it all seemed to pop out of nowhere during the exposition.
Grammatical errors were sparse, so sparse you may not even notice them, they did absolutely nothing to the story's flow.
The cover is quite eye-catching. The book's summary I found so-so.
The chemistry between Zem and Leo was palpable, but I found it quite shallow. Maybe this was because I only read five parts of the book, maybe their relationship ran deeper than just physical attraction. It was implied that they both were starting to develop feelings for each other but I didn't feel that depth, it all seemed rather sexual.
The premise is decently solid. Time restricts me, so I can only imagine what would play out in the subsequent chapters - more drama and depth, I hope.
Paint Me Saved is a radiant piece filled with romance, determination, and tight chances. I'd recommend this to anyone who'd enjoy a resplendent work of art.
