She probably saw her future.

Risa's summary: Kylie Lennox knew things were going to turn out this way. The same could not be said for Kai. Love blooms wherever it wants to. This time, it's between a young high school teacher and a CEO.

I have great respect for honest writers, writers who boldly acknowledge the flaws in their works and perhaps hope to make them better someday.
This writer is one of such honest ones.

The first warning I got when I opened the book was that it was going to be a boring ride.
That was very true, indeed. It was so boring, my brain had to make up its own scenes to add some substance to the storyline. It was good brain exercise for me.

Grammar was particularly impressive. There were several errors sprinkled throughout, but they can all be quickly fixed with good editing.

To me, the story had absolutely no direction, and confusion seemed to have been the goal. If confusion wasn't the goal, however, the writer might want to consider proper structuring as regards plot and character development.

I believe there could be a whole lot more to this story; it's clear the writer had brilliant ideas for the book. Hopefully, this brilliance is channelled into adding the right ingredients to the story.
In the end, it's the writer's soup, and they have every right to cook it the way they want to.

With the images and all, the book's cover was certainly eye-catching, I didn't find it book cover worthy, though. The book's summary left me speechless and thoughtless, not in pleasant ways.

The CEO and Kylie is a fairish read you might want to try out, it just might be to your liking.
