An evil swap.

Risa's summary: something strange happened in class. And before long, rumour becomes wild fire.
Fei's school isn't ready to lose credibility, so, a meeting is swiftly held to curb damage.
'Invisible' Fei is forced to tag along. If only she'd known better, she would not have gone.
They're strangely pulled pulled back into school.
It's an alternate dimension. And they very well know: this school is not theirs.

I reaaallly loved this book! As imperfect as it was, I found it a complete delight.

Just to get it off my chest: a few times, I wished I could pull Mark out and give him a hug; I found him so loveable! Now, back to business.

The story starts with an eerie calm.
First, the faux peace. And suddenly, the action hits. This writer did a pretty decent job at picking emotive words, it added fine seasoning to the story's mood.

Grammatical errors were sprinkled in here and there. The most common seemed to be: confusion with past and present tenses. All errors can be fixed just right with a good edit, though.
Also, I'd advise ending sentences with just one punctuation mark, not two. If two is absolutely necessary, you may consider using interrobangs.

In as much as I loved the heartwarming relationship between Fei and Mark, I believe both characters -- and by extension, others -- need to be fleshed out more. Do they exist outside the whole... mystery? What really are their lives like, outside general descriptions?

The book's cover seemed to convey the story's setting and all, but I really did not like it; didn't find it book cover worthy. The book's summary was short, but seemed to have been yanked out and thrown in. I'd suggest stronger effort be put into crafting an enticing summary.

This Is Not Our School is a finely chopped mystery with just the right tinge of something akin to evil. I'd absolutely recommend this to anyone who'd enjoy a read that's beautifully horrific.
