Two more days of staying in the hospital and now we're finally getting discharge. The doctor said Kalen should stay for two more days so they can make sure that the wound won't open.

I decided to visit Claud before we leave. Hanggang ngayon ay nasa ICU pa rin ito at hindi pa nagigising. Ang mabuting balita lamang na natanggap namin sa mga doktor ay tuluyan ng nawala sa sistema ni Claud ang lason na sadyang inihalo sa bala ng baril, its the same drug that almost killed Kalen.

They really want us dead, huh?

I leaned at the glass window of the ICU and stare at the lying body of my bestfriend, hoping that he'll move one finger just like how I watched in the movies. But to my disappointment, still no sign of movement.

You have to wake up Claud. Your father is here for you.

I stayed there for a couple of minutes 'til I decided to move and go back to Kalen's room. When I got there, Jaren and his husband seems like fighting and this time it seems serious.

"Hindi ka pwedeng pumunta doon basta basta, you almost got killed for fuck sake!"

"I told you, Chief's men are there when things will go south. I will be fine."

Napahilot sa sintido si Jaren at pasalampak na umupo sa sofa, inis na inis sa asawa. Ako naman ay lumapit kay Kalen na tila buryong buryo lang na nanunuod sa kanilang dalawa.

"What happened?"
Mahinang bulong ko sa kaniya ngunit maging siya ay tahimik lang ang tugon.

"Lets just get out of here and we'll discuss that matter at the penthouse. You both take a chill pill."

Onyx nodded at stayed silent but Jaren storm out of the room. I dont know what's their problem but I remembered that they always bicker quietly for the past two days. Akala ko ay simpleng asaran lang ang pinagtatalunan nila pero mukhang seryoso ang dalawa, base na rin sa mga reaksyon nila ngayon.

I helped Kalen get up even though he can managed.

"I know you're just acting up Kalen and I dont want you to get tired that's why Im helping you, but I swear to God, magpabigat ka pa ng isang beses, I'll fucking drop you to the floor."

Natawa naman si Onyx na siyang nagdadala ng mga gamit namin ni Kalen habang ang isa ay onti onting umayos ng tayo habang nakapanlabi.

"Ehem b-baby, ehem pabebe."

"You're saying something Onyx?"

Onyx just chuckled while Kalen rolled his eyes. Ako man ay natatawa sa reaksyon niya pero mabigat talaga ang loko at halatang sinasadya niya.

Sinalubong kami ni Jaren sa baba at nakahanda na ang kotse, kinuha niya ang ilan sa mga gamit ngunit tahimik pa din ito hanggang sa pagdadrive. The silence inside the car is killing me, usually this boys are bickering at each other, but now, they all fall to silence.

Hanggang sa makauwi kami sa penthouse ni Kalen ay wala pa ring umiimik kaya nagpasya na akong magsalita.

"Are you guys hungry? I'll coo--"

"Im not. I'll just go to my room."

With that, Jaren left us and went to his room. Napabuntong hininga na lamang muli si Onyx at humingi ng tawad sa inasal ni Jaren.

"It's okay Nyx. I guess he's tired, ilang araw na din na di maayos ang tulog niyo. You can go rest and eat later."

Onyx nodded and said that he'll also rest. Naka-cast pa din ang braso niya at siguradong sariwa pa ang sugat no'n.

Tumingin naman ako kay Kalen na ngayon ay nakasandal at tila may iniisip. Umupo ako sa tabi niya at napansin naman niya agad ako.

"Tired?"
