Chapter 14

"Merry Christmas!" everyone says as they enter Jaden's house. Jaden invited all of Millie's friends and herself because he wanted to spend the Christmas with them since he had no family in Los Angeles and Millie and him have been seeing each other for the past week.

"Merry Christmas!" he says as he hugs all of them but his eyes were searching for Millie, who was carrying in her guitar in one hand and bags of gifts in the other. Ethan was helping her too so Jaden smiled.

Millie entered Jaden's enormous and expensive mansion dressed in black leggings, a red oversized cable knit sweater with side slits and a dove grey beanie. Her hair was curled, and her makeup looked normal as she stepped into his mansion.

"You look wonderful," he says kissing her cheek and she laughed. Due to the cold outside, her cheeks and nose was red. She took off her beanie and walked to the living room where all her friends sat.

His house was completely decorated for Christmas, it smelled like Christmas and it felt cozy.

"Your house is huge," Millie says looking around and Jaden smiles at her. She usually sat on Ethan's arm rest but today, she sat on Jaden's and Ethan didn't like looking at it.

"Let's bake some Christmas cookies," Millie says standing up and everyone looked at her confused.

"But Millie, we do not know how to bake," they say and Millie just laughs and leads them to the enormous, fully equipped kitchen and the helpers brought out all the ingredients for Millie from the life size pantry.

"I'll teach you how. It's Christmas, it's fun to do it together," she says as she puts on her apron and everyone else follows her lead. They decided to make Sugar Cookies, Gingerbread Cookies, Red Velvet Crinkle Cookies, roll cookies, and Eggnog Cookies.

They all were put in a 5 groups of 2 people each. Ethan and Zoe were in charge of making Sugar Cookies, Kate and Alexis with Gingerbread Cookies, Henry and June with Eggnog Cookies, Daniel and Grace with roll cookies and Alex and Jaden with Eggnog Cookies as Millie supervised them and helped them all.

As they all placed the dough in different baking trays, Millie mixed the icing for the cookies. They all decorated it and after two hours of hard work, their cookies were made.

"We did it!" Ethan says and everyone cheers because they indeed did make cookie for the first time and they looked delicious. They all sat down with their large bowls of cookies and they taste them.

"This tastes delicious," Kate says eating an eggnog cookie and Alex and June beamed at the compliment.

"One second," she said taking a large cookie bowl with a mix of cookies and walked to the helpers and she smiled at them.

"Merry Christmas and thank you for your help," she says handing over cookies to them and they looked unsure of what to do.

"Come on, it's Christmas! Take some," she says and they take the bowl and passed it amongst themselves and the smile on their faces made Millie smile. They enjoyed the cookies so Millie came back.

"Millie, you are always so kind," Jaden says hugging her and she hugged him back and sat on his arm chair. Everyone's stomach was filled with cookies so they decided to skip dinner and decided to exchange gifts for each other.

Millie gave her gifts to her friends and they all seemed to like hers since it was thoughtful and sweet. They all loved their gifts and they were happy together. It was Zoe's turn to open Ethan's gift.

"What's in it?" she asked opening a large, wrapped box only to find a smaller one in it. The boxes kept getting smaller till a ring box fell into her hand and Ethan took the box from Zoe's hand and went on his knee.
