Olivia spent her entire night thinking about what was happening, especially how Elliot was going to pretend that nothing had happened between them. He may claim that it would only be for a few weeks, but Olivia knew better than to believe him.
She gave up on sleep at around six and climbed out of bed and had to deal with her morning sickness. Later, she had plans on talking to Chief Dodds about her current situation, and seeing what squad he may put her in.
"Detective Benson." Chief Dodds frowned when he walked towards his office and saw Olivia camped out in front of his door.
"Sir." Olivia replied nervously, as she stood slowly on shaky legs.
"I'm assuming that you would like to discuss your suspension and transfer?" He mused, and Olivia nodded.
"Yes, sir. I need to discuss everything." Olivia frowned.
"Okay, c'mon. I only have an hour before I start meetings."
Olivia followed her boss into his office, and she sat and bounced her leg as she waited for him to talk.
"Alright, speak, Benson."
"I am so sorry that I broke the rules, and that I didn't disclose the affair or my pregnancy. I planned on waiting until my doctor gave me the all clear before telling Cragen... I know I can't just get away with this, but I don't want to be transferred. SVU is my home, sir."
"Olivia, I can't keep you there. Don doesn't want you there anymore, either." Dodds frowned, and Olivia quickly had to blink away tears. She hated that in the end, she was the one getting in the most trouble. It made her so angry, and she really didn't want to hear anything else from her boss.
"Where are you sending me?" Olivia asked weakly.
"No one has an opening at the moment."
"So I'm without a job?" Olivia asked, as her anger bubbled up.
"For now. You are on suspension until further notice."
Olivia took a shaky breath before shaking her head.
"I quit."
"Excuse me?" Dodds asked with wide eyes.
"I'm done. I'm the only one getting fucked over in this situation, so I'm no longer going to work for the NYPD."
"Detective Benson!" Dodds yelled, as Olivia stood and moved to the door.
"You might want these." Olivia spoke quickly before reaching into her purse. She pulled out her service weapon, badge, and cuffs.
"Try to find someone as good as me."

"Hello?" Elliot sighed as he answered his phone. He planned on spending his morning with Kathy once the kids left for school, so he was a little unsure if Cragen lifted his suspension and was calling him in.
"Stabler, did she tell you what she had been planning?" Cragen questioned rapidly.
"Huh? Who are we talking about?" Elliot replied, as he turned and looked at his family as they ate breakfast. The oldest four were heading back to college today, and Eli was going to get on the bus soon.
"Olivia! She just turned in her badge!" Cragen exclaimed. Elliot's eyes went wide as he moved from the doorway and into the living room.
"She quit?" Elliot whispered.
"Yes, she quit. Dodds just called me to tell me, and I guess she went to see him about not getting transferred!"
"Don, I'll go talk to-"
"They won't take her back, Stabler. She burned her bridges. Did she tell you?"
"Captain, we aren't addressing what had happened. At this moment, we are pretending like it never happened."
"She's pregnant with your kid, Stabler." Cragen sighed.
"I know, but my family needs to come first right now. I'll see you next Monday, sir." Elliot spoke, before ending the call. He let out a shaky breath as he thought about what Olivia might do next.
"Who was that, Dad?" Maureen asked nervously.
"No one important, Mo. C'mon, let's go finish breakfast and then I'll help you pack up."

Olivia didn't know exactly what she wanted to do, but she knew New York didn't seem like her home anymore. She was so angry at those that she once loved, so she packed up and decided to leave. Olivia didn't know where she'd land, but she knew she had time to decide.
"Liv?" Casey asked, as she walked into Olivia's apartment without knocking.
"Good, you're here! I need help." Olivia spoke, as she finished taping a box off.
"With what? Are you reorganizing?" Casey asked with wide eyes. Her friend had only been packing for a few hours, and her apartment already looked bare.
"No, I'm moving. I need help carrying stuff down to my car."
"M-moving?" Casey asked weakly.
"Yeah, I'm leaving. I can't be here anymore." Olivia replied as she moved over and grabbed another box.
Casey was quick to step forward and stop Olivia from continuing. She grabbed her hands and tried to figure out what to say.
"Why?" Casey asked plainly.
"There isn't an opening in the city for a detective. Elliot only got suspended for sleeping with me. I got a transfer and a suspension for getting pregnant and sleeping with Elliot. To add to everything, Elliot and I are pretending that this never happened. He needs to focus on his children and Kathy."
"Liv, you can't pretend for long! You are pregnant, and eventually you'll start showing!" Casey exclaimed.
"I won't be here when that happens. I'm leaving, and probably for good. Elliot will never be mine, and this baby won't be nearly as loved as much by Elliot as his other kids are. So please, help me." Olivia breathed.
Casey looked at her best friend for a long moment, before nodding slowly.
"Okay, but only as long as you help me pack, too."
"Huh?"
"I'm not letting you do this alone. I can always get my license in a different state."
"But Casey-"
"If Elliot refuses to be around and to acknowledge that you are pregnant with his child, then I will help you raise this kid. I will be the best fucking aunt to this baby." Casey replied passionately.
Olivia started to cry and nodded before hugging her friend tightly. Casey was right. If Elliot would not step up and help, then Casey would be the next best thing. Olivia would rather have her child have an aunt compared to an absent dad.
