Olivia and Elliot continued to discuss moving back to Manhattan daily. They even looked at houses and apartments at night while Evie was sleeping. At the beginning of the year, Olivia and Elliot had packed up the house and sent things to Manhattan. Elliot had talked to Fin and asked him if he would put all of their stuff in a storage unit, and Fin agreed. Especially since he wanted to see Olivia when they got back to New York.
"I wonder if Daddy forgot his key." Olivia cooed as she held Evie and moved to the front door. Elliot had left to get more boxes, so Olivia was alone with Evie.
Olivia opened the door before freezing when she saw Casey standing there. It had been five weeks since everything hit the fan.
"Casey." Olivia breathed, as her heart beat quickly in her chest.
"Hey, Liv... Can we talk?" Casey asked, and Olivia nodded weakly. They moved into the house together. Casey sat on the couch as Olivia put Evie in her bassinet upstairs. Olivia didn't want Casey to see Evie right now.
When Olivia got downstairs, Casey was standing near a box that she had opened. Inside was a bunch of Olivia's stuff. Olivia's plan was to empty her items and then send a letter to Casey explaining what she had done, along with the fact the house was hers if she wanted it.
"Are you moving?"
"Yeah, I am. Elliot and I are moving back to Manhattan together." Olivia breathed as she moved over and grabbed the frame from Casey's hand before putting it back in the box. Olivia searched for the tape before closing the box once more.
"How could you throw our entire relationship away for him? It's not like he's anything special, Liv. He's just another man whore that is going to use and abuse you." Casey huffed.
"I wasn't the one to throw our relationship away, Case. You did. The way you treated me and Elliot... it was wrong of you. You were crazy and got so paranoid. If you hadn't acted as you had, I don't think that I would move back to Manhattan. I really think we may have worked things out, but this is on you. Not him." Olivia replied back.
Olivia did realize that Elliot hadn't dealt with the affair or pregnancy in the right way. But he has apologized and changed. He admitted to have done wrong, but he's better now. He loves Olivia and Evie, and plans to be the best father to Evie and partner to Liv. He didn't want to miss out on anything else.
"Olivia, we were going to get married-"
"No, we weren't. You made that clear when you turned down my proposal. And whatever happened before I almost died, clearly it didn't stick with you." Olivia laughed bitterly.
She heard the front door open before turning to see Elliot standing there.
"Uh, hi." He spoke awkwardly.
"Thanks for stealing her, asshole. You ruined an amazing relationship, and I hope this one ends too. This time, I won't be waiting for you, Olivia. You are used goods now."

Elliot climbed into bed that night. Olivia had taken what Casey had said pretty hard and ended up crying most of the day. Elliot let her do what she needed too, and he finished packing up the living room.
"My eyes hurt." Olivia whispered, as Elliot laid down.
"Do you want some medicine or eye drops? That might help." Elliot smiled weakly.
"I'm okay... you just got into bed and I don't want you getting out again." Olivia replied, before slipping closer to Elliot. Elliot wrapped his arms around Olivia and held her close. She sniffled a few times as she rested her head against his shoulder.
"I'm sorry about what she said, love. You aren't used goods. No matter what she says, you are the most amazing woman that I know. I made a mistake by picking a failing marriage over the woman I'm meant to be with. Please don't let what she said get to you. It isn't true... she's just bitter." Elliot spoke, as he caressed Olivia's messy brown hair.
"Our relationship wasn't amazing as she said, El. She turned my proposal down because she was scared, I tried to be accepting but it was as if she didn't remember that I had never hurt her. That I loved her even before we moved here and started dating."
Olivia let out a weak sigh as she closed her eyes and tried to hold on tighter to Elliot.
"No relationship is amazing or perfect. But in the end, if you'd like to be with her-"
"No, El. I'm really enjoying being with you and raising Evie with you. If we don't make it, we don't... but I at least wanna give us a try. Like we should of when I first found out I was pregnant."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I'm sure. Can we just go to sleep? We have more packing to do tomorrow and soon we'll be on a plane back to New York."
"Sure, but try not to snore. I need sleep too." Elliot teased, before he placed a gentle kiss on the top of Olivia's head.

Casey didn't come over again. She kept her distance and just waited for the letter so she could claim her house again. By the time Evie was six weeks old, and Olivia was given the all clear, they got on a plane and headed to New York.
Evie was surprisingly good on the flight, and when they landed early in the morning, Olivia started to feel nervous.
"What if he doesn't take me back?" Olivia asked as she and Elliot walked through the airport. Olivia had Evie in a wrap against her chest, and Elliot carried their few carry-ons.
"Cragen? You don't have to go back until you are ready. If he doesn't take you back, then there are other precincts or you can just spend all day with our baby. Especially since she's getting so big."
"Can we take a pit stop on the way to our apartment?" Olivia asked weakly.
"Do you wanna see him?" Elliot mused, and Olivia nodded slowly.
"I mostly wanna see Fin..."
