Elliot and Evie joined Olivia to get her pregnancy confirmed. Olivia needed Elliot to hold her hand, since the last time they weren't even involved when Olivia was getting her pregnancy confirmed.
"She's exhausted today," Elliot spoke, as he sat with Evie sleeping in his arms and Olivia was busy filling out paperwork.
"I know. Last night's seizure was one of the worst."
"Did her monitor catch the seizure activity?" Elliot mused, and Olivia nodded. She unlocked her phone and opened the app before passing it to Elliot.
They sat in silence as Olivia finished her paperwork. When she got back from turning it in, Evie had woken up and let out a whine. Elliot got concerned, but Olivia simply reached into her purse and grabbed Evie's glasses. She put the band around her daughter's head and sat the glasses in place. Evie gave her mother a big smile once she could finally see clearly.
"Hey there, babe," Olivia smiled.
"How'd you know she wanted that?" Elliot mused, as Evie reached out and patted his cheek and smiled.
"Because I'm her Mama, and I have been taking care of her since she was released from the hospital. And if you are planning on helping me out when we have another baby, then you'll have to notice some things. Evie needs to have her glasses on once she wakes up, otherwise she gets scared," Olivia explained, as Evie continued to play with her father's cheeks.
Elliot listened to Olivia talk about their daughter, and he realized he didn't know nearly as much as he thought he did.
"Olivia Benson?" The nurse spoke. Olivia stood and looked at Elliot. She gave him a shaky smile before they walked back.

Eight weeks pregnant. That is all Olivia could think about.
Eight weeks before, Evie had been in the hospital for a few days because of her seizures. Olivia had expected the time they created their second baby would have been a month ago, but she was wrong.
"Uh, so we are going to have a July baby," Elliot smiled, as he watched Olivia cut up Evie's pancakes before sitting the plate in front of her.
"I will be miserable."
"At least it won't be an Arizona summer like when you were pregnant with Evie, baby. And I will be there to pamper you. Giving you feet rubs and making sure you have all your cravings... and in the end, we get a baby. Maybe a little girl that will be adorable, just like her big sissy. Right, Evie Peyton?" Elliot spoke. Evie looked at her father and smiled at him before shoving a piece of pancake into her mouth.
Her parents chuckled softly. Olivia looked at her daughter for a few moments and realized that maybe having one last baby wouldn't be that big of a deal. Yes, having a medically complicated toddler and a newborn would be difficult, but Olivia had never expected to have kids to start. Now she was on her second, and she wouldn't trade it for the world.
"Liv-"
"I'm kinda hoping for a little boy, honestly. So then Eli has someone to terrorize," Olivia smiled softly.
"He'd really enjoy that," Elliot chuckled.
"I'll try to relax and not be so scared, okay? I'd like to enjoy being pregnant, and having you here for it this time. But trust me when I say that you will do anything I ask."
"Your wish is my command, Ms. Benson."
"You'll regret that, Mr. Stabler," Olivia laughed.

Olivia reached twelve weeks by Christmas. She and the baby were doing great, and so were the rest of the family. This was the first Christmas that they all spent together as a family, and Dickie was able to get time off to join them.
"I heard Evie hasn't had a seizure in two weeks. Is that true?" Dickie asked, as he sat in his father's recliner and bounced his baby sister on his lap. Evie had the sweetest giggles pouring from her mouth as she held on tightly to Dickie's sweater.
"That is true. They don't know why, but we are just thanking God that this keeps up," Olivia smiled. She walked over to Dickie and sat his coffee on the side table, before heading back into the kitchen.
Everyone was just finishing up dinner, and Elliot was outside with Eli as they gathered up more wood for the fire.
"This is really nice, Liv," Kathy admitted. Olivia eyed her for a moment as she retied her apron.
"What is really nice?"
"Today. Celebrating Christmas as a family for the first time in a while. The other ones we had before Elliot and I split were so forced, but today is nice. Thanks for inviting me too."
"You've helped a lot since Evie got out of the hospital, and you are the mother of these kids I love," Olivia smiled softly.
"Never did we expect to have our mother and our father's girlfriend be so tight. I feel like I'm seeing things," Maureen laughed. Olivia and Kathy rolled their eyes and just kept moving forward with their dinner.
///
Dinner was shared at Olivia and Elliot's large kitchen table. While they prayed, Elliot tossed in something about the new baby. The kids caught on quickly, since Elliot used to do that when the kids were younger. The last time he did it was when Kathy was pregnant with Eli, so it had been years.
"I'm assuming like every Stabler, this baby wasn't expected?" Maureen asked, but she wasn't angry. This time, she was actually excited about having another sibling.
"Yeah, not at all. We weren't planning on having another baby since Evie is a lot to handle, but I'm excited. So is your father if you couldn't tell," Olivia replied.
The kids got to talking, and everyone was focused on talking when the doorbell rang. Olivia left the table and went straight to the front door. She didn't even think twice about answering it, but she regretted it the moment she swung the door open.
"Uh, hey," the gravely voice spoke.
