Every weekend, Elliot's older four kids came home to spend time with their parents and little brother. Elliot didn't want to miss out on time with his kids, so after work on Friday night, he made sure Olivia got home safely and then headed out to Queens. He got there not long after Maureen did, and his eldest happily greeted him, so he knew Kathy hadn't told them yet.
"I have missed you, Dad." Maureen grinned as she leaned back and looked at her father.
"I missed you too, Mo. How was school?" Elliot asked as he reached out and grabbed a few bags.
"It was good. I just passed a big test and now I am onto studying for exams." Maureen smiled.
"I can't believe you are going to be graduating this year, Mo... I feel old." Elliot said with a weak laugh. He may feel old, but then he kept remembering that he was going to be starting over soon. There would be long sleepless nights and a countless amount of dirty diapers.
"You are old, Daddy." Maureen grinned.
Elliot helped to carry bags for all four of his college bound kids. Then he went inside and got to see Eli.
"Where have you been, Dad? Mom said you were busy and couldn't come home."
"I've been staying at the precinct. We got a big case, but we just closed it, so I have the weekend off."
"Elliot." Kathy frowned as she came out of the kitchen at the sound of her husband's voice.
"Hey, Kath. Do you need help with dinner or-"
"Please join me. We need to talk." Kathy breathed, her voice cold and sharp. Elliot knew she'd still be pissed, but he was hoping she would hide it while their kids were there.
Kathy shut the kitchen door behind her husband before turning to look at him.
"What are you doing here?" She huffed.
"I wasn't going to miss out on spending time with the kids. I always look forward to the weekend." Elliot frowned.
"I don't care if you look forward to the weekends with the kids, especially since you are a cheating asshole." Kathy hissed, her voice a little lower on the last part. She didn't want this fight to be the way the kids found out about the affair.
"Kathy, I'm trying. I went to therapy with you, and even if you and I will not make it... I am determined to be the best father to these kids."
"Even that bastard?" Kathy snapped. Whenever Kathy called his child a bastard, it made his blood boil. He hated that term, and Kathy did, too. Especially since Maureen had been called that multiple times.
"Never call my child a bastard, Kathy. If you want these kids to have a father, then you'll stop pushing me away. I'm certain that you are hiding something dark, and you won't admit it, so I'm always the bad guy." Elliot spat.
"What are you two arguing about in here?" Maureen asked as she quickly came into the kitchen and shut the door behind her.
"Your father cheated on me and knocked up the slut."

Olivia had just gotten back from grocery shopping when someone knocked on her front door. She knew it wasn't Elliot, so she was a little more hesitant when opening the door.
"Uh, who's there?" Olivia asked, before even looking through the peephole.
"Liv, open up." The voice hiccupped. Olivia opened the door before swallowing hard when she saw Maureen there.
"Mo, what are you doing here?" Olivia questioned nervously.
"Why would you do it?"
"Mo-"
"You slept with my father!" Maureen sobbed.
"Kid-"
"No! Shut up! You slept with my father! You allowed him to cheat on my mother! We have done so much for you, and then you pay us back by fucking my father!?" Maureen screamed as she gave Olivia a shove. Olivia stumbled into the wall, but managed to stay standing.
"I-i'm sorry."
"No, you aren't! If you were sorry, then you'd get rid of that thing! You'd leave this fucking city so we can recover as a family!"
"Leave." Olivia whispered.
"No! You leave!" Maureen yelled, before going to shove Olivia again. Olivia grabbed the girl by her arms and quickly pinned her against the wall.
"Stop it, now! I will not let you beat me up just because you are angry! I'm sorry for what I did, but I'm not leaving just because you are angry."
"You are a whore!" Maureen yelled, as she fought Olivia's grasp.
"Go ahead and call me whatever you want, but that isn't going to change a thing! Now, get out of my apartment before I call the police!" Olivia huffed as she struggled to keep Maureen from hitting her.
"I hate you." Maureen growled as Olivia took her to the door and shoved her out.
"Yeah, I know. You will never stop hating me, and I can't change that. Just stay away from me, because if you... if you hurt my baby, then things will get so much worse."
Maureen stumbled down the hall as her father turned the corner. He had gone searching for his daughter, and he knew she'd come here. Maureen would come here and try to make Olivia pay for what had happened. She was like Kathy in that way.
"Mo!" Elliot exclaimed, but his daughter wasn't as relieved to see him as he was to see her.
"I hate you, Dad. If you pick that bitch and that baby over us, then I will never talk to you again."
"I'm not picking her over you guys. I want you all in my life. So please, come home with me." Elliot sighed as he grabbed his daughter's arm. Maureen quickly pulled it from her father's grip before smacking him hard across his cheek.
"I'm not going anywhere with you." Maureen grumbled.
Maureen got into the elevator as Elliot hesitantly turned and looked down at Olivia's door. She was standing in the doorway, tears slipping down her cheeks.
"Did she hurt you?" Elliot asked as he slowly moved to her.
"She tried, but she didn't manage to actually hurt me. She wants me to get rid of the baby."
"Do you-"
"I already told you I wasn't going to. But now I guess you gotta decide what you are going to do... because I don't know if I will be strong enough to fight her off next time."
