"Never?" Olivia whispered as tears burned her eyes. She had been certain that Casey would scream yes and then they'd go home and celebrate together. However, Casey's answer was far from what Olivia had been expecting.

"I don't think I want to get married, Liv. I'm sorry, but-"

"N-no, it's okay." Olivia whispered as she slowly pushed herself up.

"Liv-"

"We should probably go home... you have work tomorrow." Olivia whispered. She stepped slowly away from the table as Casey sat frozen and with tears on her cheeks.

Olivia got outside, and she climbed into the car as tears streamed quickly down her cheeks. She didn't know if they would ever make it past this, especially since Casey seemed scared of their future now.

When Casey didn't agree to marry Olivia, it really fucked with their relationship. Casey slept on the couch, and they rarely talked and showed no affection towards each other. Olivia kept planning for Evie, but didn't know if Casey would be there when Evie was born. Or if Evie would still be raised by both of her mothers.

"What are your plans for this week?" Casey asked, as she and Olivia sat together and ate breakfast the week before Olivia's due date.

"Nothing, really." Olivia replied softly, before she took a sip of her tea.

"Uh, I am going to be working a lot of long hours this week. So I guess when you go into labor, just call me." Casey sighed.

"Why?" Olivia replied coldly.

"I'm not letting you go through that alone, Liv. I know that we aren't on good terms, but I won't have you give birth to our child-"

"So Evie is still our child? So you won't marry me or kiss me anymore, but you will raise my child? I don't think so. Either you are all in this fucking relationship or you are just my roommate." Olivia snapped. She was tired of living with the woman she loved, but not be loved back.

"Olivia, I love you and Evie still! I still want to be her mom, just like I want to be your girlfriend! I just don't want to get married right now or ever! Can't you just accept that?" Casey yelled. Olivia slammed her hand against the table as her face grew red with anger.

"Go. To. Work." She growled.

"Liv-"

"Get out of here, now!" Olivia yelled. Casey scrambled to her feet and walked out of the kitchen as Olivia cried.

This was not the time for them to be fighting. Evie Peyton was just days away, and Olivia didn't want to have to go through everything alone. She didn't want to raise Evie by herself.

///

Olivia spent her day walking laps around her neighborhood and trying to get herself to relax. She was so angry, but she wanted to move past that anger so then maybe she could enjoy the last few days of her pregnancy.

"I just got back and now I have to have a visitor." Olivia mumbled as she walked out of the kitchen with a bottle of water in hand. Olivia made it to the front door and took a long drink of her water before opening the door.

She froze and swallowed hard when she spotted the visitor.

"Olivia?" Elliot whispered, his eyes wide and his face pale. He looked like he saw a ghost, but in reality, he was looking at one. Olivia had disappeared, and now she was standing in front of him.

"How did you find me?" Olivia asked as tears welled in her eyes.

"Um, I came to see Casey."

"C-casey? Why?" Olivia demanded.

"I wanted to see if she had found you... but I guess you were with her all along." Elliot whispered, and Olivia bit her lip and nodded slowly.

"Yeah, I did. She left with me because she didn't want me to be alone. Elliot, I need you to leave. I don't want you here. So please-"

"Pregnancy suits you, Liv. You are glowing." Elliot smiled weakly as he looked Olivia over. He let his eyes stop on her belly for a few long moments before looking back into her eyes.

"Elliot-"

"Please, Liv. I left Manhattan in search of you, and I found you. I don't want to leave before we have a chance to catch up." Elliot spoke, as he reached out and grabbed Olivia's hands. He squeezed them tightly, before letting out a small breath when Olivia nodded.

"Come in."

///

Olivia got Elliot something to drink before they settled down in the living room. Elliot had been looking at the pictures, and it didn't take him long to realize that Casey and Olivia were an item. He was shocked, but not too surprised. If men kept hurting Olivia, eventually she would turn to a woman.

"So you and Casey are together?" Elliot asked. Olivia sighed softly, before nodding slowly.

"I guess."

"You guess? Liv, there are pictures of you two kissing on the wall. I think-"

"I used to kiss you, but we aren't together." Olivia snapped.

Elliot sighed softly before he took a drink from his water.

"Liv, I'm sorry."

"Why did you leave Manhattan? You said you left, but didn't give me a reason."

"For the past nine weeks, I have had partial custody of Eli. He keeps fighting me nonstop on everything, so I told Kathy to keep him. I'll go back eventually, but not right now. I gave up you and our child for them, and this is how they pay me back." Elliot whispered as he looked at Olivia.

"It's my child, El. Not yours."

"Liv-" Elliot started, but he stopped when he saw Olivia's face scrunch up a bit.

He kept his mouth shut, and after a moment Olivia looked at him.

"What were you going to say?" She asked weakly.

"Liv, was that a contraction?" Elliot asked as he moved onto the edge of the couch.

"N-no." Olivia replied, as she stood slowly and moved towards the front door. Elliot followed her closely before watching as she opened the front door of her house.

"Olivia, are you in labor?" Elliot asked again.

"Leave." Olivia ordered.

"No, I'm-"

"I told you to leave, Elliot! If I'm in labor, that is none of your business!" Olivia snapped, before she let out a gasp and grabbed the edge of the door. She was holding onto it so tightly that her knuckles were white.

"I'm not leaving you alone while you are in labor, Liv. So get used to me being here."
