They kept Olivia in the hospital for two additional days before they sent her home. For those two days, Elliot rarely left her side. He knew what he had to do to keep her, and that meant being incredibly supportive and understanding.

"I never expected for you to be here, and for you to drive me and Evie Peyton home from the hospital." Olivia spoke from where she sat in the backseat of Elliot's car. Olivia didn't want Casey to know that she was getting released because she wanted this quiet time with Elliot and their baby.

"Hey, all Stabler babies got driven home by me. Evie won't be any different." Elliot replied with a smile, as he locked eyes with Olivia through the review mirror.

Olivia blushed a bit from the eye contact, before looking back to Evie.

"Have you heard from Casey?" Olivia asked, as Elliot pulled out of the hospital parking lot and drove towards Olivia's house.

"Um, not since the day you woke up. She came to my hotel room and threatened me."

"W-what?" Olivia breathed, as she glanced up from her daughter.

"Oh yeah. She said she's not going to let anything stand in her way. She's determined to stay with you, Liv. Even if that means she's gotta knock me down in the process." Elliot replied, as if it wasn't a huge deal.

"Do you still carry?" Olivia whispered as tears burned her eyes.

"Honey-"

"El, are you willing protect us all just in case? Casey has gotten obsessive since you showed up, and it makes me nervous."

Elliot nodded slowly, before sighing and patting his side.

"If she threatened our lives, I can protect us either with my fists or my gun. But I will always try to talk her down first... you may hate me again if I kill your girlfriend."

"She's not my girlfriend anymore... I honestly don't know who anyone is to me right now."

Casey was at the house when Elliot and Olivia got back. She had heard the door shut and ran outside to see that Elliot was carefully helping Olivia from the backseat. His hands were all over her, and that made Casey see red.

"Stop touching her!" She screamed from the path as she stomped down it.

"I'm just helping her-" Elliot started, but stopped when Casey put her hands on him. She was trying her hardest to pull Elliot away from Olivia, but she had forgotten how strong and sturdy he was.

"Casey, knock it off! Stop acting like a child!" Olivia snapped.

"Olivia, he's going to hurt you again! He's stealing you from me! That is unacceptable! So get your ass inside! Now!" Casey yelled, as she smacked Elliot in the head.

Elliot turned quickly and pushed Casey away from him. He stood between her and Olivia, as his face grew red.

"Don't touch me. I mean, never touch me again. You are acting like a child that isn't getting what she wants. For the past several months, you have had Olivia, but now you are angry that she doesn't want to be with you anymore. I get it makes you angry, but you gotta just deal with it. She is an adult and can make her own decisions. Like deciding to not date someone who won't marry her. One who has threatened her child's father. So, unless you have plans on killing me, you are going to have to get the fuck out of here."

"This is my home, too." Casey growled.

"Do you really want me to take Olivia back to my hotel? Where we can be alone?" Elliot taunted. Casey swallowed hard before walking away from them and to her car. She left quickly, her front bumper barely missing Elliot's car.

"Are you okay?" Olivia asked, as she reached out and touched the back of Elliot's head.

"I'm just angry... but all that matters is that you and Evie are safe."

The first night home wasn't what Olivia had expected.

After she had left Manhattan, she had expected for her first night home with Evie to be with Casey. That they'd be sitting together, as they memorized every single feature on the baby's face. They'd gradually get into a schedule to ensure both got sleep and could bond with Evie Peyton.

However, her night was spent completely with Elliot. She watched as he took charge of Evie so that she could sleep and relax. Elliot was a much better father to Evie than Olivia had expected. He loved that little girl just as much as the rest of his children.

"You don't have to change her diaper every time it's dirty. I can change diapers too." Olivia spoke from where she laid in bed. Elliot was sleeping in there tonight, on top of the sheets, to ensure that Olivia had help with Evie.

"I'm an expert at changing diapers." Elliot smiled as he laid back beside Olivia. He reached over and smoothed her hair.

"You are such a gentleman." She whispered, and Elliot shrugged as he laid back and felt as Olivia grabbed his hand.

"You deserve someone who can love you and take care of you... I wish that I could have been that way in Manhattan, but it took me losing you to realize exactly what I wanted."

"You want me?" Olivia yawned, and Elliot nodded.

"I want you and Evie more than life itself..." Elliot replied, before slipping closer to Olivia. He wanted to kiss her so badly, but he stopped himself.

"I thought Casey loved me, but I almost think she is acting like this because she liked having something you didn't have."

"Love, she may have actually loved and cared for you. Why else would she have agreed to raising Evie with you? I don't think she's jealous of me."

"Not jealous of you, but more of what you had. The day we went back to work after Kathy got back, I told Casey everything that had happened... then when I got pregnant I did the same thing. She knew you picked Kathy over me, so I think that is when she decided to move in. Decided to finally take me from you, because you had tossed me aside... if that makes any sense." Olivia yawned.

"In a weird way, it does. But if you'll allow me, I want you back. I want to marry you and love you forever, Livvie."
