Before Trevor questioned Olivia, he asked for a recess. Barba was going to object, but he looked at Olivia and she just gave him a nod. Olivia was dismissed from the stand and walked towards Barba.

"He doesn't know what to ask me," Olivia smiled.

"Of course he is, Olivia. He knows Casey was in the wrong and needs to figure out how to flip it onto me. Like as if I told Casey off camera she'd be taking Evie home with her. That I didn't tell Elliot so he could arrest her... they will figure something out and try to make this whole shit show my fault, when it isn't," Olivia sighed.

She raked her fingers through her hair as Trevor walked towards them.

"Olivia, Barba."

"What can we help you with, Mr. Langan?" Barba asked, as he looked up at Trevor.

"Casey wants to talk about a deal. Can we discuss one?" Trevor mused. Barba laughed softly and shrugged.

"I gave her my deal, Trevor. Five years in jail and an order to not contact Evie or her family once she is out of jail," Barba smiled.

"Five years of probation and the order to not contact Evie and her family?" Trevor asked quietly. He was avoiding looking at Olivia, since he was sure that she would object to this offer.

"I want to talk to her before anything is decided," Olivia spoke stubbornly, as she shifted in her spot.

"You can't-" Barba started, but Trevor held up his hand and stopped him.

"Let me ask the judge and I'll come get you if she agrees. Until then, please just think about it. Casey needs help, not jail time."

Olivia walked into the holding cell that Casey was waiting in. A guard locked her in the cell with Casey as she walked to a bench.

"Why did you want to talk to me?" Casey asked, a frown darkening her features.

"You tried to kidnap my child, you threatened to kill my partner, and you ruined our relationship," Olivia breathed.

"I-"

"I know you want a deal... but I don't think you deserve to be walking on the street as if you didn't commit a crime. Now I can't decide what happens to you, or if you get probation or jail time... but I can decide that you are no longer having contact with anyone in my family. You need to move on, Casey," Olivia breathed.

"Move on and do what, Olivia?! The only two people I love don't love me back!" Casey exclaimed. Olivia rolled her eyes and leaned back against the bars.

"You could always start dating again and focus on finding the right person. You knew I came with a lot of baggage, and in the end we couldn't move past that. Elliot and I are meant to be together, and unfortunately, you and I weren't... I loved you so much, and the time we spent together was great... but in the end, you and I weren't good for each other. I'm certain that in a few years you will find some amazing girl that will make you feel the way Elliot makes me feel," Olivia breathed.

Casey swallowed hard as she stood. She heard a guard clear his throat, so she sat down again.

"No one else has made me feel the way you have, Olivia," Casey admitted.

"I didn't make you feel safe or loved enough, Case. When you meet the one for you, it'll be like I never existed. You will have lots of babies with this woman and have a beautiful house. Then you will open another firm that you will lead and kick ass in the courtroom. Casey, you just need to move on, because this isn't good for you."

"You don't know what's good for me!" Casey cried.

"I know that you've lost a lot of weight and that your hair seems to have fallen out. You are stressed, and that isn't good for you. So please, just take whatever deal Barba and Trevor can agree on... then be happy."
